Chateau d'Argouges

Chateau Argouges is a wonderful place to stay in Normandy. The château is beautiful, well kept, well stocked, clean, spacious, and that’s just the interior. The gardens, swimming pool, trampoline, game room, swings, lanes to walk down… all made our experience perfect for adults and for children. We enjoyed some restaurants in Bayeux, but also enjoy getting steaks and oysters and fish from a local fishmonger and grilling and cooking at home. The kitchen had everything we needed. Thibault recommended a chef for one of the nights and he was a fabulous chef, François. With 11 of us, including two children under four, it was a perfect solution and easy to travel to all of the Normandy D-Day sites. If our bucket list wasn’t so long, we would go back here next year.
