We visited in May. Such a wonderful stay. The staff was great. We got a tour of the hotel, explaining all the paintings in the different rooms, the equiite wine cellar. .. It was during pentecostal holiday and the kitchen was unfortunately closed so we didn't try any dinner :( Great breakfast! Wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Had a wonderful stroll around the area. We're definitely coming back.

This place is magical! We spent a couple of days at Refsnes Gods after our 4 day wedding in Oslo. And it was exactly what we needed. The place is gorgeous, service is fantastic and the room was amazing. Its easy to get there from Oslo and you really feel like royalty both by the way everyone is treating you and from the suroundings! The wine cellar is truly impressive and they have an impressive art-collection. And the restaurant- its honestly worth a visit just for that. Great food and friendly, proffesional service. We are already talking about going back.

It must have been a lovely private house before the park was sold for house and it still has lovely views across the fjord and a please simple garden. The room was attractive but the bathroom was similar to Premier Inn bathroom. Perfectly functional but lacking any touches. The shower and tap wouldn’t turn off so if you wanted one on you had to have both. I reported this the first night and having done away I realised I had mistakenly given a non existent room number. Nobody noticed as I don’t think the receptionist was remotely interested. I reported it again the next day and hope someone has bothered to fix it. The reception staff were indifferent but the breakfast staff excellent and charming whereas in the main dining room there is a rather Dickensian air and although the food was well cooked it all lacked atmosphere. Mysteriously they were telling people it was full when it blatantly wasn’t maybe short staffed? All in all it was fine but nothing special Needs

The suit was spacious. It had a nice view and access to the garden. Food was delicious and pretty, and was well suited to the wine they recommended to each dish. Nice hospitality. Want to go back, and probably will

Thanks to Ann Iren in ordering, Pål Magne and Jinky in serving and, not least, thanks to hotel director Ismahene Boussakra! Humble and grateful, a completely professional handling with a warm and human touch that stands out! Highly recommended❤️

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. The beds and linens were fantastic, the breakfast was delicious. This was but a pit stop on our road trip but this charming hotel will stay in our memories
