What a gem of a place! Andre and Jan were wonderful and attentive hosts. The property is beautiful and idiosyncratic in the best way. It is full of little treasures like a perfect view of Mt Taranaki through a Rapunzel like tower viewing portal, a stunning garden, and an aviary of colorful parrots. The breakfast was delicious, hearty and considered. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The Tivoli Homestay is a place one must fall in love with. First ist the architecture of the building, second the beautifully appointed rooms (we had the garden room, not very large but cozy), third the overwhelming friendliness and hospitality of Jan and Andre and last, but not least, a breakfast which is outstanding and doesn't leaves nothing to be desired. If we ever come back in this reagion, this is the place we will stay again.

My family spent 2 nights at Andre and Jan's fabulous homestay and the warmth of the welcome we received made us feel like this was a home away from home. The house has awe-inspiring views from all directions and has many interesting nooks to explore and a beautiful garden to enjoy. The breakfast feasts produced daily were out of this world. Andre and Jan were extremely helpful, full of good suggestions and knowledge regarding anything to do with this beautiful area of New Zealand, and we very much enjoyed the time we spent with them. Thanks for a truly amazing stay.

Andre and Jan have a beautiful homestay with real attention paid to every detail of making guests stay absolutely perfect. They made us feel so at home, and despite the wet weather over our visit we had a fabulous time. The breakfast was also 10/10 with so much attention to the little extras that made it really special. Our hosts were such nice people and we felt part of the family by the time we left - there can be no higher praise surely. Thanks so much.

Tivoli was an amazing stay, beautiful touches of luxury and the most delicious breakfast we’ve had from a BnB. Our hosts we wonderfully hospitable and we would love to stay again.
