Beautiful, old hotel right on the lake in Mount Dora. She was showing her age but her charm made up for it. I was looking forward to the pool, unfortunately the water was the same temp at the air. Hot. 🥵 not refreshing at all. It looks like they have started a pier renovation/ improvement, but they seemed to have stopped mid way through, such a shame as it looks like it will be lovely when/if finished. It's within walking distance to everything in town so that is also nice. Despite the bathroom door not having any hardware, the water barely trickled out of the sink and the creaky bed, I would still stay here again

Beautiful location. Extremely shabby property, badly in need of a deep cleaning and some basic updates.

Bushes rubbing against window sounded like screeching fingernails on a chalkboard all night long.
Bathroom door hinge was unbelievably loud.
There’s no way to use the bathroom without waking your spouse in the middle of the night.
Staff was informed of the issues. We received an apology.

What a beautiful historical hotel! It was comfortable and we were pleased to see they had maintained the authentic style. Loved sitting in wooden rockers on the porch enjoying the views all around! The grounds were impeccably kept!

Beautifil grounds and location. Lake view and fishing pier. Very well kept historic hotel. Easy walk into downtown Mt. Dora with many shops and restaurants.

WOnderful staff and the ambience was very nice. Rooms are pretty nice but this is an old hotel so the lack of modern amenities in the room was expected.

We had an amazing time celebrating my birthday for 2 days at the Inn. We enjoyed the Sunday dinner and jazz group preforming that night. What a nice time. It would have been nice to have had an elevator. . .but hey -- we only stayed 2 days and it was OK. . .Great time and good personnel all over the property.

Such a beautiful, well kept, historic property. The rooms comfortably quaint, and the grounds tidily gorgeous.

When we got to our room the sheets weren’t on the bed. They were painting the rooms there. They quickly placed us in another room.
