Definitely not 4star that’s for sure! Maybe some of this is due to being end of season I don’t know, but if you’re looking for high-end, good quality, this is not the place. No air con in rooms and as there are no windows, it’s exceptionally stuffy when trying to sleep. In-room facilities are fairly basic, but clean and comfy. No lights on balcony means you can’t sit out there at night and fridges in rooms are warm at best. Food is samey but dressed up as something else on themed nights, which quickly gets boring. Omelette and pasta stations are worth shouting about as are the desserts if that’s your thing. Lots of stewed meats and rice, fish and a small variety of meats/cheeses. Fresh fruit was not mixed up much which is a shame. Eating feels like it’s in a school dinner hall and staff are oblivious to the need for tables being reset after people have used them! Drinks leave a lot to be desired and are definitely not quality! Hit and miss whether you get the drink you actually ordered and be careful to check if you have children with you, that their drinks are actually soft drinks when received! Alcohol was served to one of our teens when a soft drink was requested. The waiting staff chop and change whether certain drinks are included on the all-inclusive from one day to the next. Service can be hit and miss - I recommend tipping if you want an improved service. The snack bar isn’t up to much and the service is slower than that of snail. Not all of the products advertised are available and the service received is miserable to say the least. Who said service with a smile was the way to the customer’s heart?!? Plenty of sun beds and no need to claim them early on but beware they’re in need of replacement with many dirty and broken in places. There are mattresses available for the sun loungers but they are few and far between and will only be obtained if you’re in the right place at the right time and willing to tip. The entertainment wasn’t to our liking or style but we remained in the outside bar area away from the arena where all the entertainment took place. If you’re interested in magic shows, bingo and karaoke then that’s where it’s at after evening meal. Otherwise, if you want a quieter area, then the upper bar and indoor areas are better. The listing states there are numerous bars/restaurants/cafes open on this site but during Tunisia’s winter, they seriously minimise what is open or available so don’t be surprised - this was t obvious on our travel agent’s website. There’s an indoor pool which is warmer than the outdoor one and a nice area to go if it’s cooler outside. The hot tub nearby isn’t up to much, damp and smelly and generally looks like it needs a good scrub. The hotel could be lovely if they updated facilities and areas, as well as if there were more staff who were trained in how to treat a customer/give good service. On one occasion, one waiter taking an order from us stated “You English drink a lot” - our third drink only of
