We had been anticipating our vacation for over a year, and wad excited as we arrived at Sun N Sand. However, our dreams of a relaxing getaway were quickly shattered. Upon check-in at 4:00 PM, we were informed that our booking had been canceled that morning due to an alleged error in the hotel's booking system at the time of booking a year before. Despite having confirmed our reservation a year in advance and providing all our contact information, the hotel had made no attempt to reach out to us beforehand. This unexpected turn of events left us feeling stranded and overwhelmed. We were forced to scramble to find alternative accommodations on the same day, which proved to be a stressful and time-consuming ordeal. The last-minute arrangements resulted in significant additional expenses for phone calls, transportation, meals to our hungry young children, and an extra night's stay at a nearby hotel. The hotel's lack of concern for our situation was evident in their indifferent and arrogant attitude. The staff we spoke with, seemed more interested in dismissing our concerns than in offering assistance. They refused to acknowledge any responsibility for the cancellation. Beyond the financial burden, this ordeal caused us to lose valuable time and energy that should have been dedicated to enjoying our vacation. We missed out on planned activities and experienced considerable stress and inconvenience. Had they just bothered to contact os, even the same morning, this could have been avoided as we could have made new arrangements on the way. I cannot strongly enough advise against booking a stay at Sun N Sand. Their disregard for their guests' well-being and their complete lack of customer service are unacceptable. We hope that by sharing our experience, we can prevent others from falling victim to their negligence.
