Hotel du Train

臨時找的住宿，倒是很有復古的味道。整體感覺還可以，畢竟酒店的年齡擺在那裡了，也不能奢求太多啦，能住就行。

DISGRACEFUL!!! DO NOT BOOK!!! We are stuck in another city because the Munich airport and train station have been closed for two days due to a blizzard (50 cm of snow!). We could not get to the hotel and they will not let us adjust our booking to new dates nor will they refund our money. They have also been horrible to speak with and VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND MEAN. THIS IS NOT HOSPITALITY. We were looking forward to this hotel in particular, but the interactions have destroyed the relationship. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

We ended up being stranded in Munich extra days due to an unprecedented snowstorm. The staff went above and beyond to make us and other stranded guests as comfortable as possible.

Loved the location of this hotel! Extremely quiet street but minutes from everything you need. We had a bunk bed “train” room. Beds were a bit hard and more hooks to hang up things would be useful as floor space is tight. But it worked and the location and friendly staff more than made up for any room shortcomings. Also excellent shower and hot water.

I loved staying here. Arrived by train and walked to the hotel. So much to do in close proximity. Very walkable and easy access to transit all over the area. Room was clean. No AC so it could get warm but I was there in Oct and weather was perfect.

This is a very cute hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is located just out side the old town of Munich so it's perfect, close but not so close you have to deal with the noise and crowds.

Room 306, date 27.09, Gucci parfum for men after cleaning service gone. To precise - we were not drunk, our memory is ok and we travel often. So, we know very well what and where we have, something like this happens the first time. More likely cleaner broke it while took away the towels (the parfum was staying close to the dirty towel on the small metal “shelf”) and said nothing. I still want to believe that it was an accident, not a theft. But in any case - it is not normal. We reported it to the reception. And if we don’t get any response from management, I’ll report this incident everywhere in social medias. Educate your staff members to work like humans and to solve incidents if they happen like humans instead of hiding like kids are doing. I feel disgusted. Advise to other travellers - do not leave anything that “costs money” in the room.

I am enjoying my stay very much. Room is small but has everything needed including a fridge, robe and nice toiletries. The location is fine though not as close to the river as hoped. It’s still walkable (about a mile). Check in was fast, they placed my bags in my room and desk attendants have all been very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel close to the central station and connected to the old town by a pedestrian street. The sleeper car decor was charming and the rooms were comfortable and clean.
