Moma1890 Boutique Hotel

I would rate this hotel in between 3 and 4. However, the total experience was ok. I was informed upon arrival that I am placed below roof and being that I stayed during summer, I was informed on reception that I will be charged for air conditioning. After short conversation that I was not informed of this, I was placed into better room and the situation was resolved. The location is nicely connected. Breakfast is very nice. Rooms are clean.

Great hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, very nice room and a nice addition is the bar with little snacks and soft drinks. Pleasantly nice and spacious bathroom, and great overall cleanliness with the right amount of care for details (two floor towels, l'Occitane amenities). Biggest plus on top: as guest you can choose the room temperature and regulate heat. Nothing worse than freezing in a hotel (unfortunately often happens...) 10/10 recommend for business trips.

Boutique hotel in very good position, in front of the underground, ideal to join downtown and airport. Perfect insulation of the room, no noise even if the room is facing main street. Room modern and confortable. Good sleep quality.Breakfast to be improved, expecially in sweets: only croissant, no cake, no biscuits. Price quite high.

What an amazing boutique hotel! The room was wonderful and the staff went above and beyond. The location is conveniently located right next to the train station but we opted to walk around to see the city. We only stayed one night but we would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Munich.

Excellent location, great atmosphere in the hotel. Unlike most standardized hotels, there is a touch of history and stylish elements. The personnel is very attentive and helpful. Breakfast very carefully prepared so a relaxing preparation ahead of busy days.

Front desk ever so helpful. Breakfast excellent. Room was clean, modern, well decorated with fluffy towels and comfortable bed. The only thing i didn’t like was the noise of traffic but that is a given because of the location. I’m from a rural area so I’m not used to that.

The hotel is conveniently located next to Ostbanhoff train station. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here for business travel in the nearby area.

I stayed at the Moma1890 for 6 nights-3 nights more than I had planned, thanks to an unprecedented snow fall and ice. My flight was cancelled twice, as were other guests flights and the hotel staff could not have done enough to help me extend my stay-I was allowed to keep my room, thankfully, and this was much appreciated. I had a Quiet Single Room, perfect for one person and I cannot emphasise how quiet it was. You would not think a hotel in them middle of Munich would be quiet but the rooms at the back really *are* quiet. I had excellent night's sleeps. The room was warm and cosy (the heating was excellent)-and could be adjusted to your liking. The shower pressure and temperature of the water were excellent and of a very high standard. The complimentary water and coffee were appreciated-there are snacks available too but I didn't take any. The breakfast was good but my only complaint is that there wasn't enough options for plant-based diets. I would have loved to have had plant-based yoghurt and plant-based/vegan cheese. I got tired of having a roll with marmalade each morning. Other than the breakfast, I was 100% satisfied with the hotel. A special thanks to Martin, Karolina, Saheed and another young man, all on reception-I think his name was Marcel/Marcil? I can't remember his name but he was there on two or more of the days I was there and he was so kind and helpful with directions, etc. The entire team could not have been more accommodating and I would not hesitate to stay here again if/when I return to Munich. Thank you for being so helpful during a very stressful week.

Quiet hotel, amazing sleep, really helpful staff-right in the heart of Munich. I spent 6 nights at this hotel-3 nights more than planned due to an unprecedented snowfall. The hotel reception team were incredibly helpful and accommodating, allowing me to keep my room for the 3 extra nights (I wasn't forced to change room). I had a Quiet Single room which was perfect for one person and was sooo quiet-I have never slept so well. The heating worked really well-the bathroom was spacious and the shower was incredible-hot and the pressure was excellent. Complimentary water was appreciated as was the complimentary coffee facilities near the breakfast room. The location of the hotel is perfect for travelling by train-it's literally across the street and there is even an entrance right outside the hotel. A lot of restaurants within walking distance-I found a lovely Spanish Tapas one, and a Vietnamese one. I would definitely return if I ever come to Munich again. A special thanks to Martin, Karolina (I think it's spelled with a K (?)-(apologies Carolina if I forgot), Saheed and there was another lovely young man who's name I forgot....Marcil/Marcel (?). They were all so very kind and helpful during what became a very stressful trip for me.
