Hotel Garni Paleta

We stayed here for 5 nights, using this as a base to explore Ljubljana, Bled, Predjama, etc. as well as Skofja Loka. The hotel was very comfortable and breakfast was great! Igor was a wonderful host and provided a lot of interesting information about the history of the area as well as helpful maps and suggestions for our excursions. Our rooms had a view of the river and we could walk to restaurants, shops and the castle - it is a small town so everything is close. We highly recommend this hotel!

We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our family holiday in Slovenia. Hotel Garni is a gem of a small hotel, in a wonderful location on the river in Skofja Loka. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable, including air conditioning which was a blessing in the very hot weather this month. Igor who runs the hotel was very friendly with lots of local knowledge, and was able to provide gluten free breakfast options. Thank you for a great stay!

Nous avons passé 11 nuits à l'hôtel Garni Paleta. Igor le propriétaire est très chaleureux et accueillant et de très bon conseil pour vous proposer des activités, des lieux à visiter, des restaurants dans le pays. Nous sommes heureux d'avoir suivi ses conseils et fait de bonnes découvertes. Le petit déjeuner est suffisant et nous avions un produit local en plus à déguster chaque matin, nous nous sommes régalés. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient très propres, nous avions assez d'espace pour mettre nos affaires et bagages. La vue sur la rivière est super. Chambre climatisée mais nous n'en n'avons pas eu besoin à cette saison. La chambre n'a pas de volets donc prévoyez de quoi masquer vos yeux si la lumière du jour vous réveille. L'hôtel est très bien situé, vous êtes à deux pas du vieux Skofja Loka ce qui vous permet de visiter la ville à pieds et un supermarché est de l'autre côté de la rue. Parking privatif à deux pas de l'hôtel, vous n'aurez pas de problème pour trouver une place pour vous garer. Nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation cet hôtel.

Mooie ruime heel schone kamer met badkamer, prachtige locatie, goed ontbijt met elke ochtend een bijzondere verrasssing in heel mooie bijzondere ontbijtruimte. Zeer aardige en bijzonder klantvriendelijke gastheer met passie voor z'n vak en voor Skofja loka.

Ruime kamer met magnifique uitzicht op riviertje en oude stad. Rustig, modern in een eeuwen oud pand met stijl. Comfort bedden op hoog peil. Supervriendelijke gastheer die nuttige tips voor dagtochtjes geeft inclusief adres waar je het best kunt parkeren en overzichtskaarten. Uitgebreid ontbijt buffet in stijlvolle basement. Afgesloten parkeerterrein op loopafstand. Ideaal om de vele bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving te bezoeken. Gezellig en sfeervol stadje, half uurtje rijden van de hoofdstad.
