This isn't the Holton and it looks like there maybe some room renovations being undertaken but balancing the price point with offering it is reasonable. The air-conditioned room offers good sized bed, TV bathroom and even a kitchen with fridge microwave washing machine sink cupboards counter kettle and tea making facilities. What excels in this hotel are it's staff. They are genuinely warm welcoming and really do what they can to help you enjoy your stay. The restaurant is also amazing with great food choices. The hotel also offers a late checkout facility which in my case was good as my return flight was very late. I got to enjoy a full final day in Oman then return to the hotel to wash tidy pack and head to the airport. Its location is truly good, and Al Khuwair is one of the best places to stay if you are visiting Oman as its has more natural prices on offer from the commercial shops there. I look forward to this hotel completing renovation of some remaining rooms to really draw the tourist crowds its truly deserves. Again what you will appreciate most is the warmth and the staff there..

We stayed for 2 weeks at Safeer International hotel. The first room I got was full of dead insects in the bathroom and bedroom and window does not open and very dark lighting. I immediately requested changing room and this is the only positive thing I can recall from my stay although should not have happened in the first place. Staff: The staff was unfriendly, no greeting, rude reception calls. No privacy since I didnt have “do not disturb sign”. The receptionist seemed desperate for money kept requesting to pay the amount as if we will run away. Cleaning: housekeeping was the most terrible issue at the hotel. Minimum cleaning, they always forget to replace towels and toiletries. We requested that no one enters the room for cleaning when we are not at the hotel and yet they came back again the next day. Also, not all amenities were available as listed and although we booked same type of room, each room had different available amenities such as iron, washing machine… Food: zero consistency. You can order same plate each day and each day it is different and most of the time did not taste well. As for the breakfast, very cheap, did not taste good and limited options. Out of the 15 nights, I only ate at the buffet twice first 2 days. Not recommended AT ALL. For the price listed for this hotel you can find way better hotels in Muscat and even cheaper.

I’ve stayed in this hotel inn for almost a month.I found mostly was unfriendly staff, poor service, food only for indians. Some of my personal things and foods were missing and they didn’t recover it.

I arrived to Muscat for 30 days of a business trip, checked into the Safeer International hotel. I required transportation to the office in the morning and from the office in the evening. 1.First 4 days in the morning the drivers came at different time and instead of the ordered 8.00am in the morning we left at 8.15-8.30am. 2. In the evening, the drivers, instead of the ordered 5.00pm, arrived at 6.00pm. 3.Breakfast was asked to be served at 7.00am, but was brought from 6.40-7.20am. 4. The food is mostly Indian and there is not much to choose. 5. Not friendly staff, very often they do not greet at the sight of a guest and do not even smile. 6. For all comments, the manager apologizes, something changes for a couple of days and then repeats. The cars that were brought for transportation were in a terrible state, and the attitude of the drivers was very careless and rude. Conclusion: If you are planning to stay at Safeer International, then you MUST look for something else, since for this amount you can easily find a better hotel (for example Ramada Encore).

It’s the worst I have ever seen. The hotel is dirt cheap, hell lot of noise is coming in the rooms, The people working there are extremely rude and ill mannered.
