Premier Inn Preston North

This PI has recently been refurbished, so we had a beautiful new PI Plus room, which was very modern and super clean and fresh. We did have an issue with the WiFi in the rooms, we could not connect from where our room was located. This was annoying, and money was refunded due to this issue. I would suggest installing some signal boosters to ensure WiFi can be connected to in all rooms. We had a beautiful breakfast at the nearby Roebuck, best cooked breakfast we have had at a PI stay. PI staff were very friendly and helpful. There are teething problems that need addressing, WiFi and we had an issue with our room card, but don’t let that put you off. Lovely peaceful location, with ample free parking.

Only problem with this Premier Inn is zero WiFi connectivity, paid for a plus room with upgraded WiFi, but couldn’t even connect to the free WiFi on any device we had and we had 4 devices, the supplied plus WiFi codes couldn’t be used as you couldn’t even connect to input the codes :-( staff unable to help with the issue

We was down to see friends for a birthday the hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly my children loved the bed and the space they had we all slept well

The newly renovated rooms are fabulous. When you consider the staff have 24 minutes to clean every room this hotel has some amazing staff Yai has to be commended for her dedication. The Roebuck food is great and provides a nice breakfast. Easily accessible hotel in a small village that’s peaceful. Loved our stay. Thank you.

We always choose Premier Inn because we can be sure it'll be clean and comfortable. When we opened the door to our room it was very obvious the previous guest had been smoking. Without any fuss at all, the very helpful lady on reception (evening of 25/5/24) allocated us the only room still available. It was a Premium room. Even better than the usual PI standard - so we'll be booking a Premium room in future. The hotel was quiet. Great location. We had dinner at the pub next door (The Roebuck) - excellent fish and chips and a really pretty rose petal panna cotta. Skipped breakfast for a run along the Lancaster Canal. Highly recommend.

I stayed at the Premier Inn Preston North for two nights recently, 14th & 15th May. The location of this establishment is in a wonderful and quiet little place called Bilsborrow. My room was immaculately clean and very well proportioned. It faced the fields and so on a night time I would sleep with the window open to allow the lovely cool air to come in. It was really dark, no light pollution and coupled with the wonderful comfy bed and pillows I slept like a log. For breakfast I ate at the adjacent pub called The Roebuck Inn. Please see separate review for this, but to sum up it was fantastic. Service - the service and genuine courtesy of the staff at this particular Premier Inn was first rate. It is genuine Lancastrian hospitality, warm, friendly and welcoming. All of the staff were first rate but in particular the receptionist upon my arrival, the lovely Ann, was everything that a receptionist ought to be. Her professional manner and helpfulness were absolutely top notch, plus the lovely welcoming smile was the cherry on the cake. I will definitely be staying here again and I highly recommend it.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The woman on reception were so lovely when we arrived there was a power cut and they said where we could go in the local area until the power was back on and we didn’t when wait an hour and we were checked in really quick. It’s a Quite area to be. Hotel room was clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay had a good view from our room.

Nice hotel and lovely room. Clean and tidy, staff friendly and helpful. Good shower but very low water pressure in tap. Only let down was the breakfast at the linked pub, which was very tired, with sticky tables and floors and with limited choice of low quality items.

I couldn't have asked for better service. In fact I've never seen anyone go over and above like Sarah. When I arrived Sarah went out of her way to arrange a room for me to be available as an early check-in (I didn't phone in advance). Whilst organising my early check in she was engaging with other customers and workmen with ease, professionalism and a friendly manner. The room itself was bigger than expected. Clean and modern. I couldn't fault it.
