The Green Village Resort

It's a average hotel near jakhalbandha town. Burhapahar range is 5km from the resort. Very far away from kohora & Bagori. Staffs need traing they not professional hoteliers. All are new.room service is very slow. Cleaning not up to the mark. Menu is very limited they have to add more varieties. Thanks.

Amids the nature a beautiful resort full of greenery, beautiful structures, clean ponds, animals, different birds & collaborative staffs, this place is a worth stay during our visit to the Kaziranga national Park. The Animal corridor being just outside the hotel makes it more thrilling with beautiful tea gardens. The cozy rooms with proper cleaning & good food at the jungle theme Kholong restra made our stay worthy. The children's park, the bonfire arrangement in the evening & the friendly staffs like Miss Ghosh, Mr. Shyam, Miss Puja & Managers Mr. Tarapada & Mr.Sumit. Me & my daughter thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Thanks for all the special requests that were attended by your staffs.

The staff are all very polite and efficient. The room was pleasant, clean and everything (TV, AC, soap dispenser, hair dryer etc) worked just fine. The housekeeping deserves our appreciation for their daily extremely neat, patient and timely job. Request for water, towels etc are quickly provided. Gratitude to the restaurant staff (Manager Mr.Tarapada Mahapatra, Sonia, Deepali and all other staff) who went the extra mile to prepare Jain food for me; kept dry packed breakfast at 6am while going for the kaziranga safari and tried their best to take care of our requests. I was called at 8.30pm on night 3 to check if we would like to order dinner! Or had we forgotten? They really care. The staff actually calls back to confirm / remind / arrange / suggest etc. A first for us! A huge hurray for Summit..... it is the best! We cherish our trip to kaziranga thanks to Summit s very humane staff.

One Of The Best Resort In Kaziranga National Park. Thanks To Restaurant Manager Tarapada He is Very Nice person.......... His Behaviour with Guest Is Superb. Oh my God What A Scenic Beauty....... Resort Campus is very Natural And Big. Inside The Resort Tea Garden, Water Body, Natural Hills And Some wild Animals You Can See from Resort. Specially Restaurant is Look like A Cave. Our Kid's are enjoyed A Lot. Staff

It was our first anniversary. We decided to explore North East India. We had a week in hand so decide to cover Assam & Meghalaya. We took a flight from Raipur to Kolkata to Guwahati. Landed in Guwahati early in the evening. Our stay was arranged at a guesthouse. Next day we were to visit Kamakhya and leave for Kaziranga. It was our anniversary day and I wanted it to be special. Me n my husband decide to book a surprise stay for each other in one destination and then for the rest of the trip, we will make spot bookings(as suggested by frnds who had visited earlier). The only suggestion worth giving a shot at Kaziranga showing online was Summit Green Village Resort & Spa. The photos online seemed nice and the booking amount seemed on the lower side to me. It made me skeptical about the place. Anyways, since I couldn’t find anything better. I just went ahead with the bookings. I had requested for a special candle light dinner arrangement in the open. We started our day visiting Kamakhya & drove down towards Kaziranga. It was a 4-4.5hr drive. The roads were pretty gud, with rough patches under construction in between. We reached the resort around 4 in the evening, checked-in. The manager was welcoming, the staff showed us our room. It was on the first floor..And was such a pretty looking setup, all with wooden finishes. The room was nice and spacious, with a dressing room leading to the washroom. It was hard to imagine such a nice, cozy property near the jungle. Infact, we found nothing such anywhere on the way. The rooms face a small artificial lake kind of water body, surrounded with orchid trees(the region has lots of orchid plantation). All the top floor rooms have attached balconies ***** with common balconies shared between rooms. We had the last room of the block and witnessed a beautiful sunrise the next morning. As planned, the manager had arranged for a special dinner for us in the open. The staff has decorated the area with candles & red balloons. We decided on having Chef’s choice of local dishes. It was very chilling but the setup and feel was so nice that we decided to continue having food in the outside. We called it a early night as we had to go on a Jungle Safari early next day. The Hotel Manager has arranged for the safari as well. We just had to make the payments. The safari ride in Kaziranga is one of a lifetime experience. The National Park is famous for one-horned Rhinos. Yes, we saw them. They are amusing creatures. Though the birds you will see here are fascinating too. We were dropped back at the resort. The resort arranges for tea plantation visits as well. Though we were short on time so we checked out post breakfast. It was wonderful stay at the Summit..Definitely recommended for couples and families. P.S. The best part of the resort is, it’s right on the highway, easy to locate, easy to reach to Kaziranga.

Resort is located in a desolated area 4 out of 1 Zone of Kaziranga is located nearby (Burapahar Zone) 15kms from the resort so we went there for Safari. Overall our stay experience was good ,hotel service was also good. We were four of us and took family ethnic villa, which costed us around 10k for two days. First day of our stay we were very excited next day onwards we felt boredom and didn’t wanted to stay there anymore. If you plan to stay I recommend not to stay there more than 1 day Food was good, especially the breakfast was good it was free for us. Dinner we took buffet it was an average costed us ₹700 per person Overall it was a nice experience .

Resort is at the most ideal location just at the start of Kaziranga Range and 40 mins by road from the Bagori gate of Kazirange NP. However the resort needs to work on cleaning it's ponds as they start giving a stench during night time. The staff especially Mr Rabin was very courteous.

I would highly recommend 👌 to visit this resort. And I would suggest to book buffet ***** with room while booking. Everything was spot on. The staff , cleanliness, service, surrounding.. we enjoyed a lot... I will rate it a 5 🌟.

There is scope for lot of improvement but house keeping supervisor Shyam really helped us to have a comfortable stay Our experience with car booking was horrible with Mr. Roman. Overall, the ambience and food was good.
