The hotel was very clean. The pool area was lovely The staff were very helpful. The restaurant and bar were excellent. Erica, who was in charge of the omelette 'station' was the most cheerful, inspiring member of staff we have ever met. The breakfasts at the hotel were outstanding. There is nothing that anyone could wish for that was not there The staff at the bar, we have to mention MichaelAngelo and Amer in the restaurant were outstanding. Evening meals were also delicious and lots of choice It is a lovely hotel with beautiful scenery all around. Very comfortable. Would highly recommend this place

Stayed at this hotel for a week and had a lovely time.This is a very well run hotel and the staff from the bar,reception ,restaurant and housekeeping are so helpful.Met some lovely people which also helps as a solo traveller.Very relaxed vibe and would not hesitate to recommend.

Second time here, with visits 7 years apart. I really can't fault the place. It has such nice little extra touches. It smells amazing as you walk in for a start then your room has kettle, mini bar and very comfy beds etc but also robes and slippers for you to make use of during your stay and a lovely hessian bag as a gift for you to keep and which actually came in very handy while I was there. You also get offered a welcome drink which you take at your leisure. Everywhere is exceptionally clean and tidy. Rooms cleaned to a high standard and plenty of toiletries and towels. Food is GREAT. The restaurant is extremely well run and staff hard working and a great mix of friendly but professional. Nice atmos in there. You get allocated a table that you keep for your stay and I was fortunate enough to be sat by lovely people. Tables are fairly close together - enough for you to strike up a conversation with your neighbour if you want to but far enough apart for privacy. Everyone is so accommodating at the Continental. Head waiter saw us waiting to be picked up from reception for the journey back to airport and offered to get us coffees, being a perfect example. The only possible negative - though could be a positive - is that the hotel is in Nago not Torbole and it is about a 20 minute walk down to the lake, and a very steep walk back up, which is daunting for some. The hotel does have a courtesy bus to bring you back up at 4 pm. (Only time I decided to use it, some of us missed it by a whisker due to late running ferries but after a quick call to the hotel, they sent the driver back and the wonderful man arrived back within minutes.) I know some felt a later bus back would be an asset but others happily used public transport which I'm told was OK. If walking is your thing, Nago has many hiking trails and the hotel will provide you with the maps. I did 2 this time round and really enjoyed the wonderful scenery. Last time I visited I discovered the lake and Torbole. This time I discovered a bit more of beautiful Nago too. If you're not afraid to walk or use the bus, this hotel is perfectly positioned to offer best of two worlds. Tonelli hotels have a deservedly great rep.

Best bed and pillows ever, such a good sleep after some really good and diverse selection of food, four courses for dinner and breakfast was lovely ☺️ the staff were courteous, informative and helpful. The hotel was well situated for all sorts of activities in and around Nago-Torbole. Despite the unpredictability of the weather we had a lovely stay. thanks 🙏

We were actually moved last minute to this hotel, after a problem with the aircon in our intended hotel in Riva del Garda. We knew that this hotel was also a Tonnelli group hotel, which seem to be very well-regarded, according to the reviews, and we weren’t disappointed. Nago is further away from the lake, being a fairly steep 2km uphill climb uphill from Torbole, but the location is peaceful and the hotel runs a minibus service to/from Torbole each day, at 09:00, 10:30 and 16:00. It’s a pleasant walk down, but we chose to take the bus back up in the August heat! The hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean. The rooms are simply furnished, but the beds were very comfortable. The only minor gripe would be that more cupboard space and clothes hangers would have been useful. The bathrooms are not as contemporary as the bedrooms, but again are spotlessly clean. The housekeeping team do an amazing job. The food was excellent: massive buffet breakfast, during which you choose your evening meal from a menu, which consists of a very well-appointed salad bar first course, followed by three further courses, with 4 options per course. There is always a vegetarian option and the staff were great at accommodating requests. The quality and presentation of the food was excellent. The hotel pool is in a lovely garden area, with views of the hills, and we never had any problem getting sun beds (albeit the weather wasn’t great some days). There is a large indoor bar, plus an outside bar area, which had evening entertainment several nights a week and was a nice place to sit and drink a cocktail from the very extensive menu (happy hour was 5-6pm and the €3 Aperol and limoncello spritzes went down very well!) The hotel runs activities such as walks, yoga and aqua aerobics, but we didn’t take part in any of these. Staff are welcoming and helpful and all in all we had a truly lovely stay. I’d happily book this or any other Tonnelli hotel based on our experience here.

Wonderful hotel in gorgeous location. I went with my teenage daughter and she really enjoyed the vacation. The local village, Nago, is so pretty and a short walk from the hotel. Hotel immaculately clean, lovely meals and fabulous cocktails. The staff team are so helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Local towns not far and the hotel shuttle bus is great, even pops back if first run of guests are not all taken back. Amazing hotel, will return. Best wishes Helen and Emily

I have written so many reviews about this beautiful hotel, as we've visited every year for many years, sometimes twice, It is situated in the little village of Nago, which is around 1.5 kilometres uphill from Torbole at the north of Lake Garda, The hotel runs a minibus to Torbole twice per day and once returning in the afternoon in time to enjoy happy hour, However if you are able, the walks to and from Torbole are stunning. There are a few ways you can go, one of which is the Santa Lucia, which is an old Roman Road. It is not that easy underfoot but so worth it, as you have beautiful views all the way The hotel itself is family run and you can clearly see this by the attention to detail and the fact that the owner, Arturo, is always on-hand. Not only on-hand actually but helps in the restaurant and you often see him working behind the bar It is spotlessly clean, and the rooms are light and airy, all with a balcony or terrace and with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards There are indoor and outdoor pools. My husband actually taught me to swim in the indoor pool a number of years ago and I'm so pleased he did as I now have the confidence to swim in the outdoor pool, which has to be the nicest I've seen. It is situated amongst olive trees and is truly beautiful The hotel provides pool towels, dressing gowns and slippers free of charge On arrival you are greeted with the smiling faces of Alessio or one of his two lovely colleagues (sorry, I don't have their names) and this paves the way to meeting the most amazing staff you are ever likely to meet, Breakfast and dinner are both overseen by Lorenzo who is in charge of the restaurant and no matter how busy it is, he keeps it running like clockwork and always has time for a laugh and a joke. Lorenzo was actually the first person to serve us at the hotel some 21 years ago and I think it speaks volumes that this is a hotel where staff do not just come and go. Breakfast is a sumptuous array, and is made up of both hot and cold buffets including meats, salamis, cheeses, smoked salmon, sausages. mushrooms, bacon, and so much more, but the always smiling and singing Erica is just ecstatic if you ask her to make one of her special omelettes (they're amazing as are her scrambled eggs), Dinner starts with a salad buffet (be careful as there is so much choice, it is easy to take too much and not have enough room for the main meal), followed by a starter, main course and sweet which you choose at breakfast and which are served to your table, Arianna is often the waitress who serves our table, and over the years we have come to know her so well, she has been kind enough to introduce us to her lovely family and this year, there was a new addition, a beautiful puppy, Aris. It is wonderful to find a place you love so much, you keep going back, and actually make real friends of the staff. Excellent hotel, staff brilliant, food (half board) excellent, prices for drinks reasonable. Hotel a little off the tourist trail. Transport good but always later than timetable says. Scenery incredible. So good we have booked Lake Garda again for 2004.

This is a really excellent hotel . It’s situated in a quiet village of Nago. This is about 2-3 miles up a very steep hill from the shore of lake Garda at Torbole. The hotel modern, immaculately clean, has excellent food and obliging staff. The pool area is shady and there are plenty of sun beds and tables. To get to the lake, there is a shuttle bus, public bus or a very lovely walk down an ancient roadway ( no traffic). All in all a really nice place to stay if you don’t want to be right on the lakeshore
