The room was good. Great views of the ocean. Unfortunately, we were not able to go onto the balcony due to the constant smell of pot smoke. There were no smoking signs, but this was not enforced. Hallways, elevators and outside also smelled of smoke. Maybe it's hard to monitor and stop.

My husband was not impressed with the smoking area when they have a balcony on the 2nd floor that no one was using. Overall a nice room and great view of the ocean.

I went on a birdwatching trip and picked the Surf Side Hotel for my stay. It was a great choice. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great view. There was a wine and cheese hour in the evening and even Hot chocolate chip cookies at 8:00 pm. Also a great breakfast the next morning. The only thing I would have liked more would have been a softer mattress. I will be staying here again! Good location also.

Enjoyed our stay at this property. The property was always clean and neat. Some areas could use a little updating. The staff was always personable, polite and helpful. The morning breakfast offering was excellent. I would absolutely stay here again.

Although it is an older place, it was very clean, the staff was extremely nice and pleasant and the breakfast was good. The only negative I could think of is the television. They use a streaming type service, that is not friendly at all. But we usually don't go to the beach to watch television. Great beach access. Would definitely stay there again, we enjoyed the visit.

Hotel is an older property but was very clean and maintained, room was comfortable and ocean view was great. Parking easily accessible.
Hot breakfast was very good but we did not like 8:00am start time(too late). Also, staff was consistently 5-10 min late in opening breakfast during our stay
Vimeo TV platform was annoying and difficult to use
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.

The room was very clean. I like that I had 2 balconies and 2 sliding doors. I did not like the cabinet that the refrigerator was in. The door was difficult to open. Towels very very white and smelled clean
