The Hive Cottage

Had a very pleasant stay at the hive cottage nainital. The staff at the property was extremely courteous and helpful. Mr. Mahesh was very helpful. The property is soooo beautiful. Loved our stay there. Must come. Will definitely visit again. Already missing 😍

Very nice cozy comfy place with scenic view of mall road and lake . Beautiful cottage . Had variety of breakfast and all delicious to our liking. Walking 10min to lake . Only thing was when get back to cottage there should be more light in the pathway for cars to drive it’s bit daunty but everything else is superb

No view from hotel. Rooms do not have windows ( I stayed in so called suite) No refrigerator No AC No heater No water bottle No Bonfire ( Pay 1000 extra if you want it) Breakfast starts at 9 AM. No varieties in breakfast. Located in congested lane difficult to drive. No pick up and drop to mall road unlike other hotels

I was scheduled to stay at this place in December 21 but due to covid exigency i could not.I have timely informed the hotel ***ager (Anish)on this. This *** is so discourteous and impolite that he denied any refund. He even sold out my room atva higher cost to someone .MMT team kept on trying to reach process refund but he declined. I had a terrible experience with this person and property.

We went with a couple of friends and our family which includes my 2 daughters. To start with, the reservation ***ager Anish Veigas is extremely rude. Interactions with him during the booking were very high handed. He didn't seem interested in taking the booking at all. Felt like he was doing me a favour by giving me a reservation. The front desk ***ager at the property was very helpful and courteous and was the only bright spot in this entire experience. The property is unkept. Dust devils in the rooms, bathrooms shabbily maintained. We also rented the Kipling suite which was well maintained compared to other rooms. A huge issue is that this property does not get any direct sunlight. This is a big problem especially in the winter months. There was a sliver of sunlight from 8 am - 10 am everyday in front of the restaurant...and this sliver would be occupied by the waiters trying to warm themselves. The staff did not even help us with the bags while checking out. We carried the bags ourselves to the cars while they looked at us. Totally avoidable. ***y better properties avbl at similar and better price points.
