Receptionists was very very helpful. Very nice and big bedroom, comfy bed and nice and modern bathroom. 😁

We arrived to find the hotel all locked up with no staff available, rang the ring doorbell and after a while managed to speak to someone. The connection was very poor and it was heavily raining so this was not easy. We were given a code to access the key safe and our room key. The same key also opened the front door ?? if all bedrooms had the same key? If so not very safe! When we arrived in our room it was clear the bathroom had not been cleaned; the toilet bowl was filled with urine which had not been flushed, there were soap wrappers left lying from previous guests. The tap on the sink was also falling off and not actually anchored to the sink in any way (I noticed this was also reported in a previous review 1 month ago yet staff denied any knowledge!) The bed looked freshly made but on closer inspection there were multiple hairs on the bottom sheet. There was also a lot of wear and tear and general dustiness on skirting boards etc. In the morning we discovered there was no hot water in the room at all! We complained about all of the above and were offered a 50% refund as we also decided not to stay for breakfast as originally planned.

Brilliant service, food and atmosphere. The food is second to none the managers go above and beyond for you. The decor is beautifully decorated, modern and bright. Although I didn't stay we viewed the rooms, they are roomy, also beautifully decorated.

I gave them a 1 star as you cannot give a zero. Arrived with partner and 4 year old son to find hotel locked up and numbers on door for contact were out of service. After a bit of digging we found there was an associated hotel 5 minutes away. When we went to see them they advised us yes they have our booking for clubhouse and took us around to an empty unmanned hotel with no breakfast or meal availability. We were taken to the annexe room we booked to find it filthy and uninhabitable and were told the hotel is being given up soon as no staff but we were welcome to stay seeing as we paid. A ridiculous statement. Avoid at all costs as the hotel owners are just trying to get you to stay at extra cost at nearby The west end hotel making out they are doing you a favour.

Shabby, worn out. Mold in the shower. No hand soap. Broken bathroom fixtures. Very thin walls - we could hear and easily understand conversations outside our room - late into the night. The view out the window looked at the back of a patio partition wall. No staff there except for a few hours late afternoon and early evening. And, to add insult to injury, they tried to charge us for eating dinner there, which we did not. We booked two non-refundable nights. We found the room so unacceptable that we only stayed one. Skip this place. We strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Best amazing hotel! This hotel the staff are so kind and helpful and be at your needs when you need. A young chap called naz I think was so phenomenal to us. Excellent service and he treated us really well at the Clubhouse hotel. Met him twice whilst there and never let us down. We needed help because our light bulb was not working in our room and naz was at our service swiftly and sorted it out for us. Will always recommend this hotel to anyone. Especially with the staff being at your needs and helping when you need!!!

I arrived and no one was at the front desk. I rang the bell and waited for a while before a young man came down. He gave me my key but did not direct me to my room or take me there. It took a little while to find as I was outside separate to the main hotel. I’d had a busy journey traveling from England, I had been in the car for eight hours. The amenities were basic and definitely need of a re-Ferb. I’ve stayed in a few hotels in Nairn over the past two months and this I have to say for the price you pay was very disappointing. At 11 o’clock at night I was woken by three or four Indian staff members shouting and being very loud and raucous right outside my window. They were smoking ********* and my window was open. My room was filled with smoke as I was on ground floor accommodation . I suffer from asthma. I asked them to stop they did not do so immediately. And only on my second time of asking and being irate did they then go? I was then really worried that my car would be damaged as they had my numberplate and could not get to sleep from thinking about this. I definitely wouldn’t go back there again when there’s so many other hotels of a much higher standard . No one was on the front desk in the morning to take my complaint . Disappointing

Booked after reviewing on trip advisor which I usually trust however I should have stuck to my gut. The professional photos are nothing like the real thing. Positives first - location! I have stayed in much better budget hotels. Firstly we booked bed and breakfast and on arrival were told breakfast was served at a hotel nearby - it’s a very short walk but who wants to do that when it’s freezing, early morning and potential for snow! The rug had crumbs, the main light only had two working bulbs, only one bed side light worked as the other was missing a bulb! The windows were old and need a good clean! The toilet was huge and didn’t look bad until you looked closer, the bottom of the shower screens need scrubbed too, my room was warm but had a musty smell. Everything was basic. The golf View is a sister hotel and I know people who had enjoyed it there, I would recommend paying a bit more and avoiding this place! Oh and I paid the bar bill and later found out my colleague paid the same bill later that night, I ve told her to claim it back, not great service for a hotel with so many good reviews! My colleagues room was half the size and she left disappointed too! Nairn is lovely but choose your hotel carefully not much choice.

My Wife and I, and another couple stayed in the Clubhouse Hotel for a weekend visit to Nairn. We had a great stay and really enjoyed the Hotel. Our friends were given a room outside in the recently added "extension" to the hotel. This was fine for them as they had their dog with them. We had Dinner in the hotel on two evenings and had no complaints about the food, although a Prawn Cocktail served on kale was a bit weird! The bar was nice and the staff were all friendly and helpful, Monica the barmaid was great and we had some laughs with her, hopefully she is settling into her job more easily every day after starting work at the Hotel quite recently. We have no complaints about the hotel and had a great stay. Will stay again if visiting Nairn. Thanks to all staff and management who made our stay very welcoming.
