The Grey

Nice boutique hotel experience. Located in the third floor of an old building, the one-floor small hotel is very new, nice beds, nice bathrooms, all the amenities we needed. Staff was there during the day, and made sure to stay until we arrived to check-in and get a card to give us access after hours.

Close proximity to spaccanapoli which contains many great restaurants, stores, and sites. The Grey team had impeccable service and support throughout our stay. During our vacation we stayed at 5 different hotels and this was by far our favorite.

Amazing place to stay and staff and manager were fantastic. Breakfast is offered every morning with fresh food. Room was cleaned daily and hotel was well kept. Always ready to offer advice for the trip, book you a taxi or some friendly banter. In the heart of the city so getting about and seeing different sights is ideal .

We were extremely pleased with the design details and the cleanliness of the facility. The staff were very professional and friendly, especially Daniele. The room was very comfortable and quiet, high celings, lots of light, windows that opened, bathroom was modern and clean, window shades enabled 'blackout' capability. Very quiet AC / heat-pump. Location in the historical district was very handy for most popular sights, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommend this for couples.

My husband and I booked a different stay/location for 4 nights, but it was only available for 3. They suggested we stay at The Grey for the first night and then transfer to theirs for the remaining 3. They are basically next door to one another, with great restaurants in between. We did and we loved both stays! The Grey was welcoming, easy to contact, and accommodated an after hours check in on a Sunday! Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, and beautiful and clean room. Would definitely recommend! Central for walking and exploring Napoli! :)

The Grey is definitely a place that I’d recommend if you’re in Naples. It’s close enough to walk to the main shopping and tourist centres, as well as the port and train station. As others have mentioned, you do wonder where you’ve booked when you enter the building. It’s very much a lived in building with its own character. The first impression that you get when you enter The Grey on the third floor is excellent. Professional, clean and well though out. Daniele and the staff were welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much for them and they were attentive to your needs. The room was excellent, a decent size with a small seating area on the balcony and large bathroom (as well as excellent air conditioning). We had drinks on the balcony on one of our two nights here, watching the traffic and people passing by below. The street is busy but you don’t have to worry about any street noise when you want some sleep - it’s probably the best soundproofing I’ve come across. Would I stay here again if I was in Naples? A definite Yes!
