The Altomira campsite is in the heart of the Alto Palancia region. There is direct access to the Via Verde de Ojos Negros, 65 km of cycling and walking routes. Bicycle rental is available on site. It is a 40-minute drive from the Altomira to the city of Valencia. There are regular trains to Valencia from the nearest town, Navajas. The beaches of the Costa del Azahar are just 35 km away. We had a one night stopover on our journey north. Lovely dip in the pool and shared the best calamari we've ever had. Excellent meal and must have a first class chef. Lovely afternoon relaxing on the terrace and enjoying the views, the peace and quiet. Would recommend.

Beautiful Spanish quiet location, beautiful walks, recommend visiting the waterfall. We had swimming pool to ourselves! Really cheap but high quality food! Immaculate tent we stayed in the emperor. Quiet friendly town near by. Clean wash facilities and friendly staff.

We stayed for 5 days in our camper van, the pitches are large and lots of shade. Good clean facilities and a nice pool. A great flat bike ride is straight from the camp site to nearby villages. Lovely restaurant on site, and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again.

We stopped here for a couple of nights on our travels. The site has everything you need. Pitches are close together but we weren’t in much so didn’t bother us. Toilet and washing facilities nearby. Plenty of hot water but a bit dated. There was some loud festival music on while we were there which went on till the early hours. It wasn’t loud enough to wake us but you could hear it if you were awake. A good cycle route to Altura (worth a visit) along an old railway track. You could cycle to Valencia too if you’re that keen. WiFi is good. Nice pool and a popular restaurant onsite. Although a steep road up to our terraced pitch we had no problem towing a 7.5m caravan up it.

Easily accessed from the A23, this is a lovely site, great staff, but be prepared for the hillside We could pitch up no problem, but getting bread from the shop or going to the restaurant became an issue, which was a shame Maybe if we could have got a pitch near the entrance, the experience would have been different, so I’ll phone ahead in future

Very steep roads so unsuitable for less able people, so ensure that you get a pitch near to the facilities. Not suitable for Motorhomes - no Motorhome Service Point for grey water (had to take it with us to next site), so only able to stay a couple of nights. Restaurant food not great - sadly.

Lovely site good showers and toilets, not for the elderly as it's up a hillside on terraces, and pool and amenities at the bottom, too much to keep going g up and down,,restaurant menu ,limited unless you like fish or rice, village of Navajas quaint, but nothing g there

A quick stopover as part of our family holiday. A Very well kept campsite, all facilities were in goid working order and clean. The site was in a picturesque peaceful setting. We weren’t able to use the pool as arrived late but it looked very inviting! The lady in reception was very helpful. Would recommend.

Lovely staff , most obliging .Well placed site for stopover or sightseeing . Some of the pitches could do with a bit of a makeover but apart from that all good .I will stop there again . Pleasant town/village well within walking distance and a fairly new extreely well appointed supermarket within 3 miles.
