Porto Naxos

Lovely hotel with a great pool. Nice room. Bathroom was a bit dated

I found this place using credit card points and cannot say enough good things about it. It's about a mile from the port in a quiet part of town but a short walk to lots of restaurants as well as re beach. Everything about this place was just great for the price, especially the pool and the fantastic poolside waitstaff and bartenders. I forgot just how nice it is to have someone bring me a daquiri! The breakfasts are included and wonderful. There's a grocery store right across the street and a pickup for some of the tour companies. The bathrooms aren't terribly modern, but the sunsets are AMAZING. The place was really clean, the staff were lovely, and I would absolutely stay here again.

It is so cute hotel .. Comfortable .. Beautiful resort .. It is easy to walk to the village . Perfect grocery store across the street.. I traveled with deaf group.. The owners was so friendly and kindness.. The porters (men) was very helpful and friendly .. The room was so cute and cozy ..

Very comfortable week at Porto Naxos Hotel. Clean rooms, facilities in good working order, helpful staff. This hotel is ideally located for exploring Naxos. Situated just on the edge of town it was a 15min stroll into the centre each evening for dinner. Plaka beach is about 15 min drive away. (We can recommend 'Tonys' nearby for renting mopeds and quad bikes.) The hotel is situated along a main road into town. I can't comment on how loud the road outside was at night but I would recommend booking a room facing the beach if possible. Breakfast was pretty standard and offers a decent variety for all. The pool area is very comfortable and the pool bar a particular highlight. The vibe was very chilled and not too noisy. The gym is very basic and could benefit from some improvement/general updating. For some reason it was locked on arrival so I had to ask for it to be kept open during our stay. We stayed in the Superior room with pool view. The private terrace was enormous and a great spot to watch sunset with a cocktail from the bar. The bed was extremely comfortable and overall we felt very satisfied with the room. Hotel Wifi didn't seem to be great so we reverted back to 4g data. Particular shout out to Thomas on reception who was incredibly welcoming and made our stay so comfortable. He even organised a taxi to collect us on upon check out and take us to the port. I would absolutely stay here again when we return to the beautiful island of Naxos.

We loved this hotel so much! The second you walk through the door into the huge reception lounge it just feels luxurious. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Everywhere was spotless. Our room was large and very comfortable. Great beds. Lovely thick towels and robes. Great aircon. A Fridge. Fantastic location just on the edge of town. Despite having a room right on the road side we couldn't hear a thing. Our room was so quiet. There is a supermarket right opposite and the beach, bars and restaurants are a 5-10 minute walk through the back streets. All really safe to walk through day or night. The best part had to be the pool. It was the most relaxing pool we have ever been to. There only seemed to be adults there during our visit so it was really peaceful. There was chilled house music playing. Big comfy sunbeds that were readily available and not reserved or hogged by absent users! Dani was amazing. The second you needed anything he was right there with fresh towels, putting up your parasol or fetching you something from the bar. Vasilis the bar tender made some really lovely cocktails. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. We really can't praise it enough and would go back in a heartbeat. Naxos itself is beautiful. Chora and the port area are spectacular. Such great views, especially at sunset. No end of great places to eat and drink. A real Greek gem. I can't wait to go back and will definitely stay at this hotel next time.

When you come to Naxos, there aren’t many places with a pool in the middle of town. Porto Naxos is 20 minutes by foot from the boat dock and 5-15 minutes to all the restaurants. What a great hotel! We are very happy with the room, the service, the pool area and everything. We really needed the pool to cool down in the sun, so we didn’t mind the extra minute of walking to the port for dinner. If you get the chance to stay here, do it!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a quiet area. The rooms are large and most have a balcony or patio to sit outside. The pool is wonderful and there is staff there to help with towels and setting up umbrellas and to order drinks and food. The breakfast is good and a good selection. The staff are excellent. It is a short walk to the beach and a bit more into town. There are several restaurants along the beach and in town. There is a grocery store across the street. The hotel can arrange tours and car rentals. We didn't do this and just enjoyed are time in the area and walking to everything One nice walk is to walk to the beach, then take the beach to the end on the right and follow the road around into town. It is very scenic.
