Ca Dei Currà

My wife and I, and another couple, stayed at Ca Dei Curra May 9-12, 2024. First, to qualify my review, I have traveled to Italy many times. My wife and I are American, travel light, and frequently stay 2-3 nights at each Agriturismo or hotel as we travel. I speak almost no Italian; my wife speaks some Italian. I am a six footer; my wife doesn’t touch five feet. We are both 69. Perfection is not required, but clean accommodations (including floors, as I workout on the floor each morning), good beds, a nice breakfast, and pleasant and competent innkeepers are a requirement. Paolo and his wife were at all times friendly, courteous, professional, helpful (for local sights and restaurants), and Paolo’s wife is a wicked good breakfast tart maker. These two are gems, though you will deal almost exclusively with Paolo. The room was nicely made every day, the floors were clean enough to work out on without laying down a towel, and the bed was firm enough for us to sleep well. The rooms and bathroom are very large compared with other places we’ve stayed in Italy, and pretty good sized by American standards, as well. If there are any deductions, we stayed in the room apparently furthest down the hot water line, and we sometimes had difficulty competing for hot water in the morning. Also, it may be charitable, by American standards, to call his pool a pool. Though it would still be delightful on a hot day. Neither were so bad as to be material deductions. For value, this is one of the best places we’ve stayed in through the years. Neither my wife nor I would hesitate to book rooms there again, nor send our best friends there. It is extremely well situated for wine tasting in that region, and assuming the other guests aren’t Americans or Germans, you might even have a peaceful and quietly night, waking up to songbirds in the vineyard in the morning. ;-))

Spacious rooms with beautiful view over the vineyards towards Barbaresco village. Friendly service. Great coffee and homemade cakes for breakfast. out door seating arrangements, loggia in the shade and small pool. Situated in the middle of the Barbaresco vineyards. 2K walk to beautiful village Neive with super restaurants.

From the moment we arrived till the minute we left, Paolo and Daniela showed us what perfect hospitality means. We checked a bike route and walking route with them and their confirmation proved to be two perfect days. Bonus, one can rent an ebike directly from them. In addition we got great recommendations for dinner locations! The breakfast is out of this world with nothing but top quality products, home made cakes and delicious cheeses. The B&B is located with beautiful views and nothing beats sitting on the terrace for lunch or aperitivo besides maybe the lovely pool!

Abbiamo passato due giorni in questo bellissimo b&b immerso nei vigneti di Neive, in posizione tranquilla con una notevole vista sulle colline. Paolo, che lo gestisce insieme alla moglie Daniela, é un padrone di casa molto simpatico e pieno di attenzioni per i suoi ospiti. La struttura è molto ben curata, con la chicca della piscina idromassaggio vista vigneti. Ottima la colazione, con le torte fatte in casa e la parte salata arricchita da un'ampia selezione di formaggi e salumi. Lo consiglio assolutamente

Bella vacanza, Paolo e sua moglie sono molto gentili e disponibili, le torte fatte in casa da lei sono fantastiche. Camere pulite e silenziose. Comoda anche la piccola piscina ottima per i giorni di caldo (noi purtroppo abbiamo trovato la pioggia). Da consigliare

Weekend di fine estate, peraltro molto caldo, in questo b&b molto carino poco fuori Neive. Panorama stupendo, una bella camera, un grazioso giardino con piscina e una colazione molto curata hanno contribuito a ritenere Ca' dei curra una validissima proposta per una vacanza nelle Langhe piemontesi. I proprietari sono molto accoglienti e simpatici, torneremo e consiglieremo questa struttura.

Nel cuore delle Langhe il residence offre relax e comfort lontano dallo stress del centro urbano. Le stanze sono ampie con comodi letti matrimoniali e affaccio sul paesaggio naturale, non c’è la tv, bagno grande. Colazione con prodotti fatti in casa e locali, bar self-service h24. Personale simpatico e gentile.

Relax totale. Paolo molto gentile e disponibile ci ha consigliato due posti dove cenare, davvero meritevoli (agriturismo Brusalino e agriturismo Cascina abate). Camera pulita con patio privato. Colazione sia dolce con crostate di marmellata fatte in casa, sia salata con formaggi e salumi. Lo consiglio.

Un paradiso con la P maiuscola. La giusta scelta per una fuga dalla quotidianità e rilassarsi in una location nel verde, vista colline. Giardino curato, piscina particolare, dove poter gustare un calice di vino da versarsi in autonomia nella sala colazioni che si presenta luminosa con vetrata sul giardino. Colazione a buffet, con servizio caffetteria, e servizio bar (frigorifero con bibite e vino 24h su 24). Camera molto spaziosa, con terrazzo vista colline, e bagno in camera fornito di tutti i confort. I proprietari dolcissimi e gentilissimi, disponibili per ogni nostra domanda. Ci hanno consigliato ottime cantine dove provare la degustazione del vino, e ci hanno affittato ad un prezzo ottimo due E-bike indicandoci bellissimi tour da scegliere. Consigliatissimo!
