Maison Saint Charles by Hotel RL

I pretty 🤩 much loved this place! It was everything we needed for an impromptu and stressful trip to New Orleans! The pool is small but good size for a family and guests to share if they’re willing. We sunbathed, we swam, we could walk to get food, and even get on the trolley 🚎 to handle business. I would definitely come back! 🫶🏽⚜️🫡🚎🛫🧳✈️🥳🥹👍🏽🫶🏽 I LOVE trip.com they have constantly found me THEE best deals EVERYTHING even internationally!

A great location for the museums and walk into the centre. Room was a good size and clean and the setting was nice. A little noisy on one night but otherwise a fab stay!

酒店位於商業區與花園區之間，商法國人區稍微有點距離。是一家花園式的酒店，有很好的停車位，適合家庭親子居住。房間有個微波爐比較方便，但是沒有煮水的水壺。工作人員都是黑人，很熱情。床加了床墊以後特別高，個子不高的人可能不習慣，晚上下床的時候要注意安全。房間沒有浴缸。隔壁有一家seafood restaurant。

Lots of cats I was in love, the old man at the front desk was the nicest man in the world, the shower was a little hard to figure out how it worked but I'm not complaining I just love the cats. Oh and the hot tub was super hot that's a good thing btw. The rooms were very nice also and it looks very nice on the outside too.

The location and the breakfast would have been a 5 - BUT - the maintenance and housekeeping were a 2 or worse. The first night we stayed, after unpacking and putting everything away we found the air conditioner had leaked and there was a big puddle by the bed. They mopped that up and the next day we had to pack up again and change rooms. That room had no phone so every time we had an issue we had to go to the lobby building - which was a trek- and get whatever. The room was not very clean. Piles of dirt in corners, shower glass was completely opaque with soap scum, furniture was peeling, the room safe wouldn't work due to maybe a dead battery. We had to get a do not disturb plaque and we didn't put it out but that day they skipped cleaning entirely. There was a lot of trash by the ice machine - which was next to our room - even a rat trap there - wondered that we would get critters in our room. see pictures attached.

We just got back to Maison St. Charles and it is amazing. We were welcomed by Keywanda who is just amazing at her job making us feel like treasured guests! Our room is clean and fresh with many new updates. The pool looks inviting and we are looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub when we get back from a short ride on the streetcar which stops right across the street. Such a gem of a hotel in the Garden District!

The Maison St Charles. Jesse was great. He was very helpful and was super kind. He greeted me and let me check in early. I am so appreciative of him. I got to New Orleans at 5am and was worried I wouldn’t be able to check in until 4pm…but he got me in right away. He was very understanding and compassionate of my situation and helped me get into my room where I was able to take a shower and take a nap after being on the road for so long.

Maison Saint Charles is a charming hotel located in the heart of the historic Garden District. The historic green tram is steps outside the hotel which gave us access to the other districts. The lobby and entrance is housed in a historic home. The rooms are located in separate quarters behind the house. Historic cobblestones lead you through well-manicured courtyards. We stayed in the court yard with the pool area and it was amazingly quiet. The elevator services all three floors. The rooms offered the most comfortable beds and four pillows on each bed. We had a full-size mini frig and a micro-wave. The room was clean and the window treatment offered darkening drapes behind the sheers to pull close at night. The pool and the jacuzzi and the pool area had plenty of chairs and tables. Breakfast is offered in another courtyard steps from the pool area. The breakfast was sumptuous, several variety of eggs, perfectly cooked bacon (and I'm a picky bacon eater) amazing pastries and you can squeeze your own orange juice. The staff at the restaurant could not have been more pleasant and accomodating. Speaking of staff members, we have been here for two days and are expected to stay for an additional four more. Everyone we have encountered thus far has been professional, courteous and has shown us nothing short of the southern charm we've heard so much about. Local stores, restaurants and bars are very short walking distance. I would definitely return to Mason Saint Charles.

Place is absolutely disgusting! Room was dirty. Furniture very old. Furniture and walls damaged. Roaches in the room. There are stray cats everywhere. Huge gap under the door. When complaining to front desk they offered nothing for their false advertisements other than they are sorry and they are going to be updating the furniture soon and we can have maintenance come spray chemicals in your room to breathe in during your stay so you do not see anymore roaches.
