We liked the historical charm of the building and its in a good location. Missed the mark on elegance. Think rental property attention to detail opposed to primary residence. Lobby felt very unsecured, sometimes no staff in there at all.

Our first visit to New Orleans had us staying at the International House Hotel. Upon arriving we were greeted by Ramon at the front desk with a smile and welcoming attitude. Throughout our stay Ramon was there to help with ideas to make our visit fun and comfortable. Our corner King room was very spacious and the bed super comfortable. Street noise was almost non existent. The bar in the lobby is stunning and the artwork throughout the hotel fascinating. Seeing an original wall size Banksy located in the lobby was amazing and the story behind it even more incredible.
All in all, our visit was comfortable, quiet and enjoyable. Our next visit to NOLA was certainly include a stay at IHH.

Great boutique hotel with an excellent staff, lovely rooms, and one of the city's best bars. Walk to the Quarter or to great restaurants in the CBD.

Staff rivaled that of the Four Seasons. They were very hospitable and took care of every need.

They charge you an “amenity fee” and the end of your stay that they don’t tell you about. I was told it was for the 2 complementary waters in the room, access to the gym, and wireless service. Never again.
