o wifi in the room. The key has to be changed 4 times beecause stoping working a lot of times, elevator are too small for the size of the builinng

The Gallivant Hotel was overall an “ok” experience. Their website indicated they had a fitness room. When I got there I found out it was closed for repairs. Then I got up to my room only to find a room that was not air conditioned, even though I was told they had air conditioning. Ended up being moved to another room where there was air conditioning. They are currently installing air conditioners in all the rooms. The shower was the best part of the room!! Service overall was good in spite of no fitness room and having to change rooms. The location is VERY good, especially if you are wanting to experience a lot of theater! Also, in spite of some inconveniences, the price was very reasonable for NYC in midtown. I might come back. Maybe in a few months the fitness room will reopen and all rooms will be air conditioned.

Trip.com cheat to the people I was been charged unreasonable amount when checked in to the hotel but I did paid full amount online at the time of booking upon reporting to the company they just said sorry and did not even refund me the money paid online

Fine, clean. Room had NO air conditioning (this was disclosed in the fine print, though) so it was suffocating. Room had no fridge, microwave, just barebones safe. The elevator was hilariously slow taking around 5 minutes. Location was perfect for any late night restaurant bites.

The manager was very rude and disrespectful the ac was on all night the temperature machine wasn’t working it was no refrigerator and it said breakfast included it was none at all the bed was so little and short it was clean tho

The hotel is a bit outdated as was the room. Very cramped for a king size room. The bathroom was was surprisingly small. The shower design was awkward in that the stall had a flaw design with partial entrance where the shower head spashed water all over the floor. No bathroom counter space what so ever. No attention to detail overall.
Both of the receptionist were extremely rude. If you hate your job that bad, stay home. I was very disappointed overall with my experience at the Galivant.
Location is excellent but far from a classy motel.

All the floor smell with smoke and very old hotel with toilet included but you need to think how to seat on it because of no space to around the toilet seat
