Umbrella Hotel Bronx

Though paid for breakfast. No breakfast served for my entire 3 night. Macrowave, no iron or iron board. No closet and no hangers in the room. Some Staff are not customers fiendly.

Umbrella Bronx is a 3-star hotel with 4-star reviews, but that was not our experience at all. Posted next to the check-in desk are the rates by the hour, along with a "no refund" sign and a "remove your skl masks" sign. Upon entering the room, there was a dirty t-shirt on the bathroom floor and no toilet paper. We tried to shower and the shower handle fell off in our hands. The curtains were ripped, there were cigarette burns in multiple locations, and the sheets had blood stains on them. The ******* team was very friendly over the phone but unable to help us because the hotel manager (who was not on site in the 4 days we were there) would not authorize a refund. My standard for cheap hotels is somewhere to pee, shower, and sleep, and it couldn't even meet those expectations.

Burns in blanket and floor. Smushed roaches on the walls. Holes in ceiling and wall. Possible sex traffic/sex work hub. Asked for a refund.

The receptionist was untrained and unwelcoming. The carpet in the room was not clean and had many stains and burn marks. The bed sheets were not fresh. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, and i had to ask for it. There was no microwave in the room and no kitchen in the hotel to heat up food. The tiny closet didn't have a single hanger. I asked and was told they don't have hangers! I didn't see the presence of security. The neighborhood is not great, however, there are decent shops around, like Burlington, Marshalls, etc.

Too much noise, need a curtain to cover the windows, light in the room early in the am, police officers sitting in the hallways outside of a door. Felt nervous

Very loud until early hours of the morning making it very difficult to sleep, located in area with very high crime rate

Paid for a room with 2 king beds.. received a room with 1 bed. Extremely run down, horrible smell, and the rooms don’t have locks on them. Didn’t even end up staying the night at all!

Got checked in late. They gave us a room that that hasn't been cleaned so we went back to the lobby and they gave us another room. The first thing we woke up to was a domestic dispute at 6:00 a.m. with a lot of screaming and yelling, we feared to even leave the room. We left for the day and when we came back we went to get on the elevator and there was a guy in there and we thought it was weird that he didn't get off. But as soon as we got on the elevator the chose the top floor to go back up. While in the elevator this guy stared at both of us as we fearing for our safety.

Yeah i requested for housekeeping to come to my room to refresh my beds ,because i was there for six Days. I have cleaned my own room, changed my own sheets, and requested for new towels every single day i was there.. they don't have any parking!!
