This small boutique hotel is a gem…room is very clean & comfortable.
We were upgraded to a King Suite & because it was our 40th anniversary… there was a bottle of champagne & a card welcoming us to the hotel.
The staff is very friendly!!! Continental breakfast included which was a plus.
It’s close if you are going to see a Broadway Show.
Definitely would stay again.

I’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s becoming my go-to spot. I’ve gotta say, it’s a little slice of cozy heaven in a bustling location. It’s this sweet respite with such truly kind and nice staff. I have zero complaints and I doubt I will have any in the future. It’s clean as a whistle (which is incredibly important to me), quiet, each room has beautiful and unique character. All around perfection.

This hotel was great! Lots of space in our room and really friendly staff. We hadn’t been to NY before and didn’t expect the entrance to be a single door in a building with other tenants, so arriving after midnight made it a little hard to find, but once inside it was fantastic!!

The location is excellent if you’re going to a Broadway show. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good variety of offerings and was a great way to start the day. The room was clean and comfortable.

We got a wonderful surprise upon our arrival today... a complimentary upgrade to the 2-bedroom penthouse, which is spacious, comfortable, clean, and lovely!

We absolutely loved staying at this property! We stayed in the penthouse and it was so roomy for the 4 of us girls. Close to many attractions and loved the jazz bar and don’t tell ya mama piano bar across the street!

beautiful, spacious rooms. i wish my apar**ent had looked like this! great location if catching a show without being overwhelmed by the area. perfect if you drive or take the train in. close enough to port authority and major subway stops and easily walkable from penn station. all in all a great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Scherman! The rooms were clean and comfortable, it's a convenient location if you're seeing a show, and the continental breakfast was a nice touch. Highly recommend.
