The hotel is in Midtown and is therefore convenient for all metro lines and Amtrak, and it's walkable for a lot of major attractions in south-central Manhattan. It's south of Times Square, 30 Rock, Broadway, and just around the corner from the Empire State Building, so it's obviously not the quietest neighborhood. If you're there on business, then be prepared for a lot of noise during the day, though I found it pretty easy to tune out after a while. Great, welcoming, and helpful staff. Lots of fantastic places to eat nearby.

Good location, but property is not clean. The ac in my unit was not functioning well and the room was very cold

Great location. Right opposite Macys. 2 blocks from the empire state building and 10 minutes walk from Times square. Rooms are a good size and well equipped but you don't go to New York to stay in your hotel. Hotel itself was quiet although there was a lot of noise from the street.

The hotel is in a great location walking distance to a lot of Manhattans attractions. The rooms are large and comfortable with basic amenities. The reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the rooftop bar is very inviting.

Good price for the excellent location, if all you're looking for just a place to sleep. No classic hotel lobby etc.

We enjoyed the location and view from our room overlooking Herald Square. Close to the show we attended at Madison Square Garden, and was nice to get food from the vendors and sit outdoors at the park to eat and enjoy the weather. Didn't realize until we were checking out that there was a lounge with terrace on our floor, would have used it if we knew! Unfortunately our room hadn't been fully cleaned when we checked in. There was a leftover pizza box on the table which was removed promptly when we called the desk. But we later found an open soda can in the fridge and used bar of soap and toiletry bottles in the shower. Didn’t call the desk again because we were already unpacked and half-dressed getting ready to go out for the night. The bedlinens and towels were fresh though, and trash cans had been emptied. I hate to leave negative reviews but it seems that housekeeping should pay a bit closer attention to detail when turning over rooms.
