Big4 Ingenia Holidays Phillip Island

I stayed for 2 nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The person in charge at the counter was helpful in explaining the cabin location and providing necessary information, making the check-in process smooth. The cabin itself was clean, and all the kitchen equipment was complete, which made our stay comfortable. However, I noticed that the facilities for kids were not as extensive as in other Big4 parks. The nearest town is Cowes around 15mins by car. Overall, it was an okay stay.

Always love Big 4 quality and customer services are great , we stayed at big 4 Ingenia philip island this time however still love the old style jumping pillows before more fun for kids. Best location close to everything and we have quality time there. Thank you for having us ✅

The beds were completely comfortable, 1 car parking, small bathroom so if your a bigger person take note but it was a good as it gets kitchen was dainty and sweet but was equipped well, cutlery, plates, washing up stuff And Microwave was great. Heating and cooling was well worth the for the quick change of temp. Close enough to everything. Thank you so much for a great experience we hope to come back again and enjoy Cabin 10.

The park itself is wonderfully maintained with plenty of clean amenities. The turf powered sites are perfect for caravans and campers and the access to beach is amazing. Unfortunately we won’t be back because we booked for the jumping pillow which is in fact now a jumping pad. The ingenia website and parks maps refer to a pillow and although this may seem trivial to a grown up it makes all the difference to a child! You can’t rent a go kart on the day of departure either so if you’re staying for one night (a Saturday night in term time for example) be sure to fit this in between the 2 hours of check in at 2pm and the go kart rentals closing at 4pm. But remember also that the games room closes at 5pm so chose those activities wisely. Phillip Island is one of our favourite places to visit and as there are so many other caravan parks to chose from at better value for money I think we’ll go elsewhere next time.

The managers that we met on arrival were very homophonic. Unwilling to accept on multiple occasions that we did not have husbands with us. Behaving punitively towards us and our child. For example; on arrival we stated that we are with 2 adults and 2 children, then clarifying 2 tents between 4 people, the manager then confirmed the booking and stated, “so you are with 4 adults and 2 children?” We were then allocated to a site for caravans on a caravan pad. The ground in these sites are too hard for tent pegs. After multiple attempts to get pegs in, we raised the issue with management, who reallocated us to a grass site intended for tents. Complete waste of time after a long drive. Later, my son approached the office for gocart hire and was asked by management to return to the office with his ‘father’ for equipment hire. When I finally had the time to accompany our child to the office, after setting up tents twice, we were denied cart hire due to closure time at 4pm, despite the sign saying 5pm. We returned for cart hire the next morning and were told we couldn’t hire a cart on the day of departure. We had a very confused and upset child. We understand there are anti discrimination laws to prevent these incidents, yet we felt powerless as we had already paid $84 our site and didn’t want to ruin the holiday for our family

Check on for Friday afternoon was easily done. Unfortunately we were right in the middle of a young group of 30 people camping in tents. encroaching on our site. Less than a foot from our caravan. Even thou the park was mostly empty. Surely we could have been informed and given an opertunity to be moved to a different site. Dump point was full. Drain at site was blocked. No soap in the toilet dispensers. Good location and enjoyed the island. Regards Chris and Debbie

Great place to stay highly recommend our kids loved it will be back again. Great facilities kids loved the games room!!!

My stay was generally comfortable and enjoyable. However, I would have appreciated more activities geared toward children, as the options seemed a bit limited. Additionally, the jumping pillow could use some improvement, as it didn't quite meet expectations in terms of quality and maintenance. Expanding the range of activities for kids and enhancing the jumping pillow would greatly enhance the overall experience for families staying at the location.
