Great little place, exactly as described. Super friendly staff. Very handy to everything Newport. Nice breakfast. Handy street parking which was convenient for us. Highly recommend

We only had a few days and One Holyrood was the perfect location in Newport. It was easy to find and 5 mins walk from the bus station. Lovely room and very friendly staff. The included breakfast was excellent. One Holyrood is a cafe during the day and closed in the evening. There are many nearby restaurants and pubs serving food

Perfect location by dock for supermarket, town centre and gym. The road outside can be a bit noisy in the evening with youngsters racing about but it tended to stop around 11pm. Great little ground floor flat, comfy and warm with kitchen, WiFi and en-suite.

A boutique hotel in a central location set with lively gardens to relax in. Room carpet stained, apart from that a good room. Lovely breakfast in the morning.

The room was comfortable and spacious and breakfast was good - my partner particularly enjoyed the breakfast. It was nice having a separate bath and walk in shower.
There were some facilities maintenance issues around the room and hotel e.g. carpet flapping off the steep stairs in places, creating a trip hazard; a black dent in the bath enamel where someone had clearly dropped something previously, a discoloured worktop around the sink which might have been water damage, and slightly tired paintwork in the room. For the price charged, we would have expected these issues to be repaired, but we do understand the difficulties of balancing the books these days. The room must’ve been wonderful when first done.
Having said that, compared to the other accommodation available at short notice on the island, this was better than most places and in a similar price bracket. We enjoyed our stay and slept well.

Lovely room, quiet and spacious. Staff excellent. Beautiful garden for breakfast lunch or an evening drink. Really convenient for a range of bars and restaurants.

Very warm welcome from the staff. Delightful hotel, with convenient location, & well maintained garden. Breakfast service was impeccable & food great. Really enjoyed the stay from start to finish.
