Stayed here on 10th September for one night and had no issues. Hotel centrally located and good value for money. However, stayed again on 14th September for one night. I had prepaid for the two rooms on 14th June last. When I arrived, the receptionist couldn’t seem to find my reservation. When she eventually found it 20 minutes later, she asked me for payment. When I advised that I had already prepaid she checked again and confirmed this was correct. (She made no apology in respect of how long it took for us to check-in.) However, a charge for the two rooms was subsequently charged to my credit card. I emailed the hotel yesterday morning, but I have not yet received a reply. I expect I am now going to have to go to the trouble of contacting my bank to arrange for them to process a charge back as the hotel doesn’t seem to be interested in addressing their mistake.
