High class hotel. Near to the beach and nice beach restaurants. Easy starting point to visit Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Delft, Scheveningen, Harlem.

We had a 3 night stay as a family of 6 adults and 2 children in 3 rooms and had a very comfortable break. We were travelling to see family and the hotel was in a great location both to see them and the local area. Our rooms had been upgraded to superior and they were well presented, comfortable and very clean. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We used the bar, restaurant and playroom. Keeping a 3 year old occupied on a windy, rainy day would have been difficult without the playroom, even the adults were joining in. We would certainly return again.

A very good hotel, near the seaside, but also with conference facilities. Very friendly staff and nice, big and clean rooms. As we were there off season, the price was also very decent. If ever again in the area, I would take this hotel again without hesitation.

I was upgraded to a suite, nice balcony with sight see view. Sit area with sofa and bureau, minibar , plenty closets and bathroom with bath and seperate shower. Not the strongest beam from shower. Toilet separated, pleasant. Great bed, very good quality for me. TV remote shows Netflix but not available. Casting is possible so it’s ok. Breakfast is great, luxury items beside daily items. Lots of cheese and delicious bacon/sausages/eggs and many sweet things. Wellness and fitness look professional. Bit small pool but great sauna and Turkish steamer. Location near the beach and shops. Parking under the hotel, but costs.

We are talking about the Reastaurant here, called Vloed. I could not find it separately. It is a big step for the Van der Valk Groep into Fine Dining and it is excellent. A spacious room, with a nice view(on the surrounding competition:-)), but it adds to an upgraded dining situation in Noordwijk can Zee. Good stuff with Caviar, Wagyu and Oysters among others. The service is very good. The only area where I would see room for improvement is the wine list, both in terms of quantity and quality.

The property is nice. I want to recommend it to others. However, be mindful parking may be dear and it is a tourist area. That do contribute to a higher budget in general.

The Hotel was in a great location for local amenities and had good transport links. Staff and locals were very friendly.

From the moment we arrived until we checked out the staff was wonderful! The front desk staff was the best I’ve ever encountered and were most knowledgeable, helpful accommodating and friendly. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

We had dinner at van der Valk. Atmosphere was okay, some young kids awkwardly trying their best and a professional waiter giving us semi-welcoming vibes. Food was super plain taste wise, just no variety at all, no bite, no surprise, no balance. The dishes looked kind of fancy, but in the very generic way – a bit of height with some tasteless crunchy bits, some foam with no taste and carrots in many colours. The worst part was the combination of price (high) with extremely small portions. We really thought it was either a prank or we had ordered two starters, but nope. We had invited grandma out, so tried our best to move all three pieces of food around for as long as we could before eating, otherwise it would have been awkward. She talks more than she eats and somehow got a decent portion. We emailed van der Valk to hear if some strange mishap resorted in the doll house size meals, no answer. So here you go, zero stars. Stay away, had so many much, much better dinners for literally half the price.
