The Follansbee Inn is a true gem, a comfortable country inn with friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful lakeside surroundings, cozy rooms, and a delicious breakfast, plus two friendly dogs. As a bonus, the trees surrounding peaceful Kezar Lake were at peak fall foliage in mid-October. We will definitely be back!

5th stay at Follansbee Inn, with many more to come!! The Inn and furnishings are beautiful old New England. Kezar Lake across the street and walking path around it are enjoyed every day of our stay. But besides all of this, Denis' breakfasts are superb. We will be back again.....

I booked the Follansbee Inn simply because it was only 45 minutes from Manchester airport and was to be a gateway to our Vermont vacation. However, after staying there for 2 nights we changed the Vermont trip to the New Hampshire trip and spent several more days there. Why? It had everything we liked- Picture perfect New England setting with a graveyard across the road and a white steepled church to boot, outstanding breakfasts, bikes to ride around the gorgeous lake, hiking nearby, comfy beds, good restaurants in New London, nice people to meet - I could go on and on. Our room was the Kristin with a separate seating area. When you wake up, right there is the view of the placid lake . Everyone we met was so nice. We will definitely be coming back and almost all the guests we spoke with had been to the inn many times. I just smile thinking about our stay.

Well located in very attractive countryside on the lake for outdoor activities facilitated by the inn. The rooms are comfortable and the place is generous in turns of extras provided. Note there is no evening dining but the place is helpful in turns of preparing carry out meals. Quirky in a good way; we were very pleased to stop here in our tour of New England

We have visited Follansbee Inn several times. This stay again didn’t disappoint. First time in room “Mimi”, perfect. While a bit more compact than other rooms we have stayed in, it was charming, comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was outstanding and delicious each of our four mornings. Evenings in the lounge/living room, where we got to meet and enjoy other guests, only added to the relaxation.

We loved staying at the Follansbee Inn with family and friends who traveled to NH for a wedding. Dennis and his team, including canine crew Angel and Grace, welcomed us to the inn with a quick tour. The vibe is chill and confortable. We enjoyed hanging out in the light-filled common spaces, relaxing on the lovely front porch and at the dock, walking around the lake to see the fall colors, and taking out kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards. Our rooms were confortable and breakfast was delicious! We highly recommend the Follansbee Inn.

What a lovely find in a beautiful area. The hotel is an old inn that is really quaint and original. The rooms are great and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Denis was on hand with advice on what to do and where to go. His breakfast was excellent, the homemade granola was delicious. We walked around the lake twice which was an easy 3 mile stroll. Would definitely stay again when passing through.

Follansbee is the epitome of an old-school New England inn. First, the breakfasts are phenomenal with Southern touches - all time, best ever, no question. Second, the clean, quiet, calm small lake it sits on with every personal watercraft possible available. Third, the comfortable, pretty and well-maintained rooms with views. Fourth, the common area with shared kitchen, sitting area and games parlor. Fifth, the eclectic and fun decorations - antique statuettes, modern and antique paintings. The inn is in the middle of a beautiful section of NH near Mt. Kearsarge with nearby golf courses, hiking, pubs, restaurants and shopping.
