Want to feel like royalty? Stay at the Seven Rooms Villadorata. We stayed in the Prince’s bedroom or Austro” room, a junior suite. Elegant and formal with a very large bathroom, sitting area and balcony overlooking some of the most beautiful architectural sites. This is a small and exclusive hotel, from the moment the large green wooden doors wing open to admit you and your vehicle to the large palm tree and cobbled courtyard (parking is included, which is a big perk where parking is generally quite difficult), to a very genteel and warm welcome at the front desk. The villa can be characterized as classically elegant with tasteful art and antiques displayed with a modern flair. The sitting room outside of our room was also beautifully decorated. Shades of pink and had a display of crowns -which I did try on for pictures! Breakfast is ordered the prior evening and wheeled into the room on an elegant cart. One may order as much as one likes with options for eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit, yogurt and coffee and more. We chose to have breakfast on the balcony Noto is small and laid out on a grid making it easily walkable from the hotel. Everything is close to the hotel including good restaurants, which the hotel is expert in with their recommendations. The beauty of Noto attracts a lot of tourists and there are many souvenir shops selling similar Sicilian items.

We stayed here for our honeymoon recently- the building itself is absolutely gorgeous with jasmine blooming along the walls and along the balconies. The room was exquisite, beautiful art, tiles, architecture and sculptures. The best things about our stay was the exceptional service we received from every staff member we interacted with. They helped us with reservations, where to go, scheduling transfers to and from Ragusa at the last minute, and they even arranged for cafe Sicilia brioche to be delivered to our room the night before we left since we were leaving before breakfast service started. We will certainly return in the future! We loved everything about Noto, but our hotel was definitely a highlight.

Being in this hotel was a very nice experience, is like staying in an apartment in an old castle, the service is very good, but the best part is its Manger Mr. Reale, he is very kind and gives you the best advices. We enjoyed very much Noto is a beautiful small city.

We had a full plan for our honeymoon, and Noto wasn't in it. While in Sardinia, we met a Milanese art dealer who said this was where we needed to be. So, we listened and changed our plans, booking the night before. We stayed five magical nights at the Villadorata and I cannot recommend it enough. The service, as mentioned, is spectacular. The room is peaceful and beautiful. We stayed in a Junior Suite. It was clean and more than we needed. The breakfast was delicious and well presented. And the attached restaurant may have been the best meal we had in Sicily. Noto is a great base for people like us, who like to stay somewhere more quiet. We were able to visit the nearby towns like Marzamemi and Ortigia easily. All along the way we were preceded with recommendations and reservations from Giovani, who is of course excellent.

Spent six wonderful days at Seven Rooms Villadorata. Formerly the home of the princely Nicolaci family, this seven room baroque palazzo is run as a true historical five star hotel. Impeccable throughout, from service to the large, stunningly decorated rooms, Seven Rooms offers the occasion for those wishing to live a unique Italian baroque experience.

My husband and I were on a European tour for 3 weeks and stayed in a dozen hotels. This was our favorite one based on location and overall service. It was beyond top notch, centrally located, safe and private. The food was lovely, their attention to detail is pristine and we were incredibly pleased with our stay through and through. Could not recommend enough!

Staying here was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. From the warm greeting we received from the front desk staff, to the gorgeous room overlooking Noto, and the delicious daily breakfast brought to our room, it was a lovely and very comfortable stay. The palace is ideally situated to walk everywhere in town, and the restaurants that Alberto recommended were all excellent. It truly felt like staying in someone’s beautiful home. We can’t wait to come back.

This is surely a hotel experience you will appreciate. Inside the courtyard is ample parking for autos, which is a necessity if you want to see the real wonders of this beautiful island. The inns lush botanical entryway leads to a small intimate concierge area where your every question or need is attended to by the highly trained, professional, invaluable staff. We chose not to hire a guide and were well directed in our journeys again by Martina, Giovanni and concierge staff. The luxurious common areas, rooms and suites are impeccably appointed with sumptuous bedding and bath linens, soaps, etc. Cleanliness levels are upheld by the lovely housekeeping staff. We have booked our return for a longer stay next year; grazie to everyone at the Seven Rooms Villadorata for making our stay such a memorable one.
