Oa Oa Lodge

沒有冷氣，沒有冷氣，沒有冷氣！在又潮濕又悶熱的地方沒有冷氣，需要開著門通風但是庭院內蚊蟲很多。房間東西非常舊。當天還有另一組客人和我們一樣，一進到房間就決定找別家飯店住！

Absolutely stunning place to stay for vacation, the views and staff are amazing. Best morning coffee views in the world, loved every second of it. Can't state enough how friendly Lisa and the staff was, definitely recommend. Rent a scooter and travel this paradise, takes about 50 mins to go around the whole island

Tom picked me up from the Air Tahiti ferry in town and I was amazed that my bungalow was actually ready upon arrival in the early morning. The property is quaint and beautiful with an on-site restaurant and infinity pool. I was in partial over-water bungalow #1 . The room and balcony are quite spacious, however basic, and could definitely use an update and some TLC. Also, there is no air conditioning in this bungalow . The ceiling fan worked fairly well and I also slept with the balcony doors open for the breeze. I definitely could have used an extra fan though. The fridge worked well for my drinks and there is a closet next to the sink in the bathroom. The staff is one of the things that makes this property special. Tom is wonderful and Lisa in the restaurant is also fabulous. The food was pretty good, too. It's about a 20 minute walk to town and a 5-10 minute walk to a couple of other restaurants. Thank you very much for the hospitality!

Was very surprised by this place, basic but very clean and spacious. The rooms are slightly dated and a little tired. We were collected from the dock and taken to Oa Oa Centre and walked through to our lodge. The swimming pool and surrounding area was quiet and quite often we were the only ones using it. Great views from the pool too. Our lodge was at the back of the complex near the road which could be noisy from traffic and dogs. The staff on site were very pleasant and always said hello with a smile. The restaurant only opens in the evening and the rooms had limited cooking facilities so we ventured out. Lots of food trucks which were very clean. Highly recommend Chez Pam for pizza which is out of the complex turn left and walk for five minutes.

This place was reasonably cheap for bora bora and worth the money. We stayed in one that was partially over the water and it was awesome. Having the view to just sit on the balcony and enjoy was nice. Sunsets from there were spectacular. The owner, Lisa (pardon if I was wrong) was awesome and down to earth to talk with. She always made an attempt to make us feel as welcome as possible. You can snorkel right of the dock and see plenty of fish and rays. However, it drops off fast so you need to stay close otlr you can't see. The negatives would be that the room isn't noise resistant so you can here most noises and if you sleep light that could bother you. The beds are kind of hard, but I didn't mind. And they could use some maintenance especially on Decking. Just another note, the pool is salt water. We had a guest join us a couple times I had to remove, a crab. I thought that was hilarious.

I stayed at Oa Oa Lodge in beautiful Bora Bora in October. They pick you up from the marina after the air Tahiti water shuttle drops you off. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for providing a bungalow option for all budgets. The room was large with cool tile floors, water closet, bathroom with separate tub and shower. There was a small beach area adjacent to the bungalow with palm trees to sit under. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to town for groceries, light shopping, and dining. The St. James and it’s patisserie we’re a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You could even hear the fish jump at night before bed. I enjoyed a dessert on my balcony staring out at the stars. Each morning I woke up to beautiful turquoise waters without leaving my bed. The fish could be seen easily since the water was clear near the base of the bungalow. There was a ladder to go swimming and two loungers to dry off on between my bungalow and the next one. The tours either picked up at the hotel dock or near the dive shop entrance which was very convenient.Thank you Tom for the hospitality. I had a wonderful stay at the property.
