very confortable rooms and friendly staff who cares about our need. It was the departure point for adam's peak climb. the hotel is well located and we have a view on adam's peak. we recommand this place. Food was also excellent and breakfast at the end of trekking was welcome !

Slightly Chilled, a hotel, offers comfortable rooms with spectacular views, delicious non-spicy meals, a spacious and cozy bathroom, a large double bed suitable for couples or friends, and, most importantly, a family-run atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The family managing the hotel is very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything you might need. I recommend :)

This family run business is excellent and they truly want you to have a great time while you are here. The place is a bit dated but has a certain charm and is greatly priced. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The food (dinner and breakfast) was very well done. This is about 750m from the base of Adam’s Peak which we found very helpful because this acted as a warm up and a cool down, making the ascent and descent 13.2km in total. We picked a very wet night to ascend - despite no sunrise, this worked to our favour as no queues or persistent hawkers selling their wares. Gayantha, the owner - gave us bin bags for our wet clothes, paper to stuff our boots and was fantastically kind. There is no safe here but he was willing to put our money and passports into his deposit box and made us sign for the values which was good for both sides. He was honest as well when my husband accidentally gave him too much in cash. They wanted to be paid in cash for the night so make sure you have enough to cover it.

This us without doubt the best place to have a meal near Adam’s Peak! I wanted relatively healthy and tasty options and I was totally satisfied with the vegetable soup and grilled chicken and veggies with a toasted garlic touch. No greasy fried dishes or tasteless broth! This was my only really good satisfying meal in the region. And all served with a smile. Thank you 🌹

We stayed here for one night before heading to Adam's Peak and it was a great choice. The rooms are very clean and the staff was very kind. We were even met with a welcome drink. Food was amazing! We had rice and curry for dinner and pankaces for breakfast, all very delicious! Also incredible views from the balcony onto the nature around. 100 % recommend!

The hotel staf was nice and location if you going to Adams peak is really good.. The water pressure in the shower was so bad so hard to shower youre hair . Slow Wi-Fi. 3/5 in raiting for the hotel.

We had a really comfortable stay at Slightly Chilled Hotel, which is located only 500m from Adams Peak Entrance. The owner is super nice and helpfull, helped us in advance via phone and organized transport from and to the train station in Hatton. The rooms were big an clean, nice shower and bathroom. We also had a balcony. The breakfast was also nice with angreat view on Adams Peak! Highly recommented!

Simple but comfortable and clean. Wif was available, clean and spacious bathrooms, and we ate a great curry too. There is a nice view on Adam's peak from the terrace. You do have to climb/descend a few flights of stairs to go to your room as there is no elevator, that is no problem of course, however after climbing 12,000 steps you do feel that these last flights are just too much!

I stayed at Slightly chilled for a night (to do Adam’s peak). I enjoyed my stay - the room was spacious, very cleaned and had a great view where you could see Adam’s peak. The owner speaks terrific English and is very helpful. I think the price might be quite more expensive than average but if so, it’s in my eyes worth the cleanliness of the place.
