Hotel CasAntica

We loved the location of this cute boutique hotel. We also loved being able to plunge in the pool to cool off after a hot day of walking. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us call another hotel to communicate for us. During our stay they had a beautiful display of artwork on the walls. Nothing negative to note.

Staying at CasAntica was not a good experience for us. First of all we got the feeling that they had no idea they had guests coming when we arrived at the reception. The english skills of the receptionist were poor, but we managed to get our room. We were placed in a corner room on the ground floor, where the only possibility of fresh air was to keep the door open. It was humid in the room and after a shower it was even worse. No natural light in the room either, since there was no windows of any kind. Not a great room to be in. You could smell the chlorine after the cleaning the whole day and evening. Even worse - the second morning we found cockroaches in our room and of course went to complain. At first the receptionist didn’t seem to be understanding what the problem was (again, english skills). But in the end we got another room. The other room was way better and we had some good days there. That’s the only reason why we didn’t try to find another hotel all together. Another thing to note here is that breakfast was not included even though we actually thought that was included in the price. The only possibility there was was to buy breakfast at the restaurant that kinda seemed like a part of the hotel but it wasn’t. The quality of the food was not the best and it was expensive considering the above written. There are much better places nearby to spend your money at and get some value for it. Overall experience - maybe check some other hotels first.

Our stay at Casantica was nice we enjoying the view of the place its antique and peaceful. Great location and staff service. The only bad thing was the water. No hot water when shower but other than that will definitely recommend

No hot water. Junior suit does not exist, I want a refund, because it was a small normal room. A twin bed, no telephone, no reading light and this room, 405, was noicie.

The hotel is very close to the main plaza. The hotel is charming, the food excellent, and the staff friendly and helpful. I'd stay again.

This is a nice 3 star hotel. The rooms are basic but very clean. The hotel itself has a definite charm and it has lots of lovely outdoor spaces to sit and read/ chat/ play games etc. brilliant location

There was no hot water so took a shower with cold water. The beds are very uncomfortable. The area was safe and convenient.

Great location, The rooms need to be updated, the mattres are hard, the pillows, the bathrooms, at least get a new shower head, the shower doors dont slide, you have to pull hard, the hot water is not hot enough.
