We enjoyed every minute of our stay at No.26 by the Sea. Beautifully decorated common space and rooms. Lovely location overlooking the water, walking distance to the Oban Distillery, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was delicious! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Good location next to sea with free parking. It’s a 10 min walk into center. Rooms have limited space but are nice. No elevator. Very good breakfast. They have a fantastic lobby with a small bar and also an outdoor veranda. Staff were terrific and helpful.

Excellent location for watching sunsets over the bay as sailboats glide by, while sipping wine or a fine scotch whiskey. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants in Oban. Exceptionally friendly staff treat you like family. Best gourmet breakfast in the UK, made to order by their chef, with fresh squeezed orange juice. Rooms are spacious with large bathrooms and wonderful showers. Plan to stay here again for next trip to the Western Isles.

Lovely hotel, beautifully positioned, and wonderfully friendly staff 😀 😊 Breakfast was delicious, with a lovely added touch of having croissants and fresh orange juice delivered to your door every morning. The lounge has magnificent views, a great place for an afternoon drink.

Loved this B&B! The decor is beautiful and welcoming. We really enjoyed the lounge area, it’s a lovely place to enjoy a drink with friends. Wonderful location and hospitality, excellent and delicious breakfast, wish we could have stayed longer.

No. 26 By The Sea was a highlight to what had already been a splendid vacation. From our first step, through the elegant front door, we knew we were someplace very special. We were welcomed with true Scottish charm that lasted throughout our stay. Our room was cozy but specious, beautifully appointed with a seating area for a glass of wine topped off with a wonderful view. The breakfast menu, fashioned by a very creative chef, included a variety of delicious choices. Everything was seamlessly provided by a friendly, accommodating and professional staff.

From the moment you arrive Carrie is looking after you! A glass of fizz while you check in and she had remembered us from a previous visit and we had the same perfect. We had pre ordered the charcuterie board so sat outside and enjoyed with a glass of wine. You are woken with warm pastries and fruit juice outside your door in the morning and then you go down to a freshly prepared breakfast that you ordered the night before. Carrie is no 26 and I hope the owners know what a valuable asset they have with her in charge. Thank you Carrie for making our stay so lovely! X

The most hospitable, friendly, place to stay. From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed with a glass of champagne and a warm smile from Carrie. The rooms are tastefully decorated and breakfast was superb. I would highly recommend the No. 26 By the Sea for a convenient location and a great stay in Oban.

Simply lovely. A real friendly welcome. Lovely style and decoration. Rachel at reception was perfect and very helpful. Breakfast was great, pre-order the night before and it’s cooked to perfection for you. I can’t recall all the names of the staff but all round a family and welcoming atmosphere.
