Boutique Splendid Hotel

A very nice boutique hotel in the centre of Varna. The check in process was very effective and welcoming; the man in reception was willing to help and explained all the necessary information very kindly. The room is comfortable and clean I especially liked the bathroom very much. Location is perfect in the centre of the city. Very good for the price.

The location of the hotel is great. You are just besides the big Varna cathedral and 5-10 min walking distance from the centre of the city. There is a bakery and a coffee shop just around the corner and a big supermarket 7-8 min away from the hotel. The Reception is 24/7 but the staff is not very friendly. The room was ok but there was a leakage from the sink which was not fixed although I reported it 3 times. On the other hand, the room was cleaned on a daily basis. There is no restaurant or even lobby at the hotel which is a bit uncomfortable. The internet was good. It is a central A/C system which is not a good option if you have to spend more time in the room. The mattress was hard. In general - compared to other options in Varna, good value for money but there are several details they still need to work on if they want to offer a really good customer experience.

Room was nice and the location is fabulous. However, the WiFi didn’t work and they hadn’t yet switched from heat to A/C, so we had to keep the windows open above the very noisy street. Also, there is NO convenient parking whatsoever. On balance, a pretty nice place but with big downsides.

Fine stay but no breakfast facility in the hotel

Ich bin etwas hin und hergerissen. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Möbel in gutem Zustand, das Badezimmer neu, gross und sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist gut, Bushaltestelle (409 zum Flughafen) und Fussgängerzone vor der Türe. Aber - die Informationen auf Plattformen wie ebookers, tripadviser und *********** sind veraltet und NICHT richtig, das Management hat gewechselt und ziemlich abgebaut. Es zerrt von der früheren guten Bewertung. Wir haben NICHT erhalten, was wir über die Website des Hotels gebucht hatten. Kein "seating area with sofas", kein " bathtub" und bezahlt haben wir trotzdem die teure Version. Wasserkocher und Tassen mussten wir anfragen, auch sie waren nicht im Zimmer. Das Hotel hat KEINEN Fitnessraum, KEIN Restaurant und KEIN kostenloses Frühstück, es ist NICHT behindertenzugängig, NICHT rollstuhlgeeignet, mit Rollstuhl kommt man definitiv nicht ins Zimmer, Treppen zur Lobby, zum Lift nochmals, vom Lift zum Zimmer nochmals Treppen. Das Hotel ist NICHT haustierfreundlich, nur Hunde bis 3kg sind erlaubt LOL. Frühstücksraum ist mir ein Mysterium, in 10 Tagen war er einmal offen und es sass eine einzige Frau darin, obwohl das Hotel gut besetzt war (wir hatten das Zimmer nebenan). Und sonst war der Raum geschlossen. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war sehr laut, weil 2 der 3 Öffnungen in der Decke nicht funktionierten, und dadurch die dritte Öffnung sehr laut Luft rauspresste, schlafen war mir nicht möglich. AC ausschalten und Fenster öffnen war auch nicht möglich, weil es draussen sehr laut war. Das neue Management braucht dringend eine neue Seite, damit Gäste nicht schwerwiegend irregeführt werden. Unter dem Strich bleibt das schale Gefühl, betrogen worden zu sein.

Обычно мы стараемся выбирать отели не ниже 4 звёзд, но так как путешествовали с собакой, такового не нашлось для нас в Варне. Отель, однако, оказался выше наших ожиданий. Просторные номера, отделка и Мебель не самые свежие, но все чисто, аккуратно и исправно. Звезду сняла за отсутствие завтрака. Все-таки отель 3 звёзды должен иметь собственный завтрак, пусть скромный. Тем более рядом нет мест где можно поесть утром, по крайней мере мы не нашли. Когда у тебя семья с детьми отсутствие завтрака это, конечно, очень неудобно :( Хорошо в номере есть чайник, сахар, чай и кофе. Купили с вечера в магазине хлеб, молоко, сыр и ветчину и устроили завтрак в номере. Но чашки для чая очень маленькие, хоть и симпатичные. Хорошо бы их заменить на более вместительные. В остальном, претензий к гостинице нет, хороший вариант, всем рекомендую.
