Every time I stay at the Ojai Valley Inn I am wowed. The service is top notch and you can’t beat its gorgeous location. Rooms are lovely and comfortable. Spa is fantastic.

The room and the balcony were beautiful. The bathroom was amazing with a huge bathtub and a separate walk in shower. The whole property is gorgeous. Peaceful and relaxing.

Nice feel as rooms and restaurants extend into golf course. Great food and service, especially Jeff at Olivella. Good massage. Liked pools.

Ojai Valley Inn is a magical place. We were there for our engagement weekend and had an incredible time. The property is stunning and the service is incredible.

Our first trip with our adult kids and would definitely come back again. The ground is beautiful, incredible service and beautiful rooms with view. We got upgraded to vista room with gorgeous view. Thank you for making my birthday wknd memorable.

We stayed here for two nights, and I would have to say that we left somewhat disappointed with our experience. The biggest issue was the staff, which was simply not up to par for a hotel charging around $1,000 per night. The valet parking staff were all teenage boys and acted accordingly. One time my girlfriend called for a golf cart three times (you need one to get around the resort), and it never turned up. The rooms were up-to-date and nicely appointed (terrific large bathtub), but the hallways were downright shabby. When you spend a fortune (as I’m sure they did) refurbishing the rooms, wouldn’t you want to make the hallways look attractive, and not like the hallways in a Holiday Inn? Finally, my girlfriend called to make an appoin**ent at the spa for a facial the next day, but had to cancel an hour later. The girl at the spa very rudely told her that we would not be reimbursed because she called to cancel 23 hours before the appoin**ent…one hour past the deadline. My girlfriend is not the type to make a fuss, but was so angry she insisted on speaking to the general manager, who (after a bit of hesitation) refunded our money. In short, not the type of customer service you expect from a true 5 star hotel.

The A/C in our room went out of order during night hourse and we had to bear with a very cold room throughout the night. We almost caught cold with a 60 degree tempreture, which undermined our otherwise perfect stay.

This is a lovely resort and I especially enjoyed our comfortable room, the friendliness of the staff, excellent dining options and the grounds are lovely. There's a nice gym too and multiple pools. Two things that were annoying were #1) they closed the nicest adult pool, which was very close to our room and very convenient, because some corporation rented it out for two days. That was very lame and no one warned us either. So we only got to use the pool for one of the days we stayed there. The other adult pool definitely wasn't as nice and there was a shortage of seats there because the main adult pool was closed. #2 ) they have shuttles to drive you to various parts of the resort but multiple times, the shuttle went right past me sitting at the stop because they didn't even look to see that I was there waiting for it. That was odd. the resort isn't that spread out so it's also easy to walk but I found it very strange and annoying. Another thing that ******* probably doesn't tell you (at least I didn't remember it) is that you have to pay an overnight parking fee of $40 per day, even if you self-park. There really is no other option for parking nearby if you don't pay the $40/day. Self parking is pretty easy. There are a bunch of good restaurants in town - we took free bikes from the resort into town and had a nice breakfast at the Dutchess. We had dinner there one night and I didn't like it that much for dinner. We also dined at Rory's place which was excellent. Have fun!
