Epacha Game Lodge & Spa

Beautifull lodge! Super friendly staff and great activities! Specially enjoyed the claypigeon shooting with the Manager! Rooms very neat amd clean. Food was well presented and great quality! The game drive cars are super comfortable and rangers well spoken and knowledgeable.

Staying at the Epacha Game Lodge and Spa near the Etosha National Park was one of the most amazing parts of our holiday in Namibia. The lodges are absolutely amazing and are completely overshadowed by the staff who are exceptional. The managers were truly wonderful in making us welcome and it was one of the highlights of our holiday in Africa. I want to say a big thanks to all of the team at Epasha, we had the most wonderful stay and we highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a mix of relaxation by the pool and also the chance to see the wonderful animals at the nearby Etosha National Park. Epasha has a number of animals at the reserve too and how amazing to see Santiago the Giraffe outside our lodge. We highly recommend the days trips offered. The are good value for money. The food was delicious each evening and the menu really creative. We did the one day tour to the national park and also the sunset tour, which was so stunning. All the drivers were very professional and exceptionally friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

First and foremost I would want to highlight the excellent and friendly staff at Epacha. From start to finish, and in all aspects of the stay, the service was impeccable. Furthermore, we got a chance to connect with the Des Nel, the general manager, which was a truly unforgettable experience. The amount of experience and passion he has for wildlife if extraordinary, and would highly recommend hearing some of his stories should the opportunity present itself. The lodge itself is fantastic, and has the right balance of seclusion and privacy, yet it still has all the key amenities and entertainment options to make for a great place to be in-between game drives. I'd definitely visit again!

Once again, Africa did not dissapoint. Namibia is a wonderful country, and Epacha Game Lodge & Spa had a lot to do with making our stay memorable. We have tried private game reserves before in South Africa, and I can confirm that the quality of services, hospitality and the food is the same - excellent. I have read some bad reveiws of the food, and I have absolutely no idea what these guests were talking about. Those reviews are older than 5 years, so I guess the management took a lot of efforts to raise the meals to 5 stars. Their Chef knows what he is doing. I am a picky person, and I expect excellent food when staying in luxury places - and Epacha Lodge exceeded my expectations. The facilities and chalets are wonderfully decorated in a mixture of African and Victorian style, and even my husband, who is an engineer, had nothing but compliments about this property. We also visited the Eagle Tented Lodge - same, no words needed. The only "minus" in my eyes is the lack of animals we saw during the game drive, but I need to be honest - it was a short drive, on our request. We had seen animals before, and we didn't even expect anything exciting. To spot the animals, you need to pe patient and attend as many game drives as possible. Epacha does not have big cats (allthough leopards have been spotted) and you need to take this into account. They are being very honest and open about it. We had a wonderful time here. Fantastic views, even from the pool. Top class service, good food and enjoyed the massage. There are antelope and giraffes (no predators) near the lodge, but my advice is to do the game spotting at Etosha and simply enjoy the luxurious surroundings as you relax at Epacha.

Set on a large reserve with plenty of wildlife, including giraffe, this lodge is a great place to stay. Friendly service and large accommodation lodges with large bathrooms, including an outdoor shower. The main building is built in an old style with plenty of seating, including a bar, spa, and infinity pool. The food was excellent, although limited to a set meal.

Wonderful 5 days! We stayed in the luxury Eagle Tented Camp and spent days on game drives or at Epapcha Lodge in the spa. Staff attentive, efficient and wonderfully friendly! Food was great! Tea/coffee & cake at 15:00. We will return!

Really lovely stay, with stunning views all over. Loved our private cottage with patio, spacious bathroom with inside AND outside shower. Main building was beautiful, and very relaxing. Pool was beautiful, but in August too cold to use. Dinner was included and very nice. Breakfast also included, and it was fine, but exactly the same every day. It is a small lodge, so I appreciate them not trying to waste food. But a little variety would have been nice. Otherwise truly an exceptional place. Slight downside: no WiFi inside the cottages or outside the main area. Not the end of the world, but a little cumbersome when you do have some work to do in this amazing environment. If you are using the lodge as a home base while going to Etosha, it is probably helpful to know it takes about one hour to the nearest park entrance. And finally, highly recommend visiting a nearby Himba village. You can book tickets with instructions online, and it is only a few kilometers from the lodge. Unforgettable experience.
