First, the staff was very friendly, no issues there. The property itself is terribly set up. The only door you can use is the main lobby entrance (which reeked of cigarette smoke). The other 3 doors of the hotel are alarmed fire exits only, with no access whatsoever from the outside. Which makes the parking lot on the one side of the hotel pretty much unusable. Or at least, incredibly inconvenient to park and have to walk all the way around the building to enter. And that leaves only 6 parking spaces for this hotel that are not handicap on the same side of the building as the main lobby access. Pretty ridiculous for a 70 room hotel! There is another hotel sharing part of the parking lot and has signs clearly marked that Motel 6 guests are not allowed to use.
The cleanliness was, ok, not the worst, but definitely needs attention to the touch surfaces (light switches, night stand and table tops).
The bed was not comfortable, the edges of the king size bed rolled downward, making you work to stay on the bed. It's not that we got no sleep, though, but it's definitely worn enough to affect a good night's rest.
Also, the walls/doors are pretty thin, and you can hear quite a bit of noise from other guests. Overall, I would not recommend staying here.
