All fine just location could be better

So this review is a bit different as I actually have not visited the hotel......but..... I was due to visit this bank holiday weekend 3rd May to the 7th I had booked the night before last minute and therefore didn't go with a refundable room (I normally do). But as I literally finished work and decided to go away for a few days I thought I didn't need too Got on my flight at Gatwick....all ok Over 5 hours later am still sat on the plane at Gatwick There had been a plane crash at the Olbia airport just as we where due to take off. They thought they would get Olbia airport open but they couldn't. Closed for 2 days!! I now couldn't get a flight out till after I was due to come back Phoned the hotel. Explained the situation They explained it was non cancellable room which I totally appreciated They lady at reception was amazing. She understood the situation and agreed it was a unique situation Gave my details. She gave me all the info in needed and what to do in terms of email a particular department and person Even if they didn't give me a refund they promised I won't be out of pocket and that they would sort out credit for a visit with no restrictions - and if I book the same amount of days and it works out more they would not charge me extra. Next morning I had an email back and they was so sympathetic and understanding.....full refund without question. More than they needed to do as I had booked a non refundable room. I have had experiences with Big Hotel chains in the past who have not show this level of understanding, compassion or even service. And because of that......I promise I will make it to Olbia and regardless of the price or other deals at hotels i will be booking Hotel Felix simply based on the customer service. Thank you! And on another note just to add ......Easy Jet ......Fantastic! They said they will put me on any flight without any hassle or extra charge or a full refund straight away. The easyJet team couldn't have been any better at Gatwick Anyway.......I am enjoying a cocktail at Lake Como and enjoying Milan also knowing am not out of pocket or stressed. Thank you both...much love

We had a very comfortable few nights here. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. Room with a balcony very much appreciated. The walk to the city Centre is a good 30 minutes but with great bus and scooter connections. Breakfast was an international affair with something for everyone. Excellent value for money. The staff are truly dedicated to providing a great guests experience.

We stayed four nights and it was absolutely superb, I don't recall ever receiving a warmer, friendlier welcome and service in a hotel anywhere in my life. From the great staff at breakfast, to the lovely, helpful girls on reception, to the superb staff in the rooftop restaurant, they all made this a really fantastic stay. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening and it was one of the top meals of my life (and hardly any more expensive than the ordinary restaurants we visited in town on the other evenings!). For most of our stay we had the swimming pool to ourselves and the room was lovely with a nice balcony with sofa where we spent quite a bit of time, just gazing out at the fantastic view of the distant mountains. The only slight drawback for some guests might be that you either need a car to get into town and around or you need to be fit enough to walk. It's a 32 min walk from the hotel to the town centre which means, if you go twice - e.g. in the morning and in the evening - 2 hours or 7.5 miles walking per day. There is a bus which is useful but limited. However, we didn't mind and had a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

Restaurant in hotel made it nice but it was a bit overpriced. Rooftop restaurant was also overpriced. Rrception staff friendly and helpful. Room comfortable.

Booked directly with the hotel and got a great discount which meant that we could afford to stay in the "Romantic Suite" on the top floor (AKA junior suite with terrace on some hotel booking sites.) Room was spacious, modern, with a super comfy bed, good aircon, walk in wardrobe, bedsettee, large wallmounted flat screen tv, mini bar, nespresso machine, good bathroom and thick towels, swanky bathtub in the room and panoramic views from our well furnished terrace! Staff were friendly. Loved the swimming pool. Good breakfast. A really lovely hotel. Supermarket next door and many eateries around. Bus stop right outside. The service is pretty good once you learn to read the timetable/ bus stops and very cheap. Taxis are ridiculously expensive, €30 - €40 for around 5km. You can get to Bados, Pittulongu beaches (2 buses each way) and Porto Istana beach (1 bus but further away). Would have given 5 stars but the rooftop bar and pool were in use for private functions throughout our stay and there is no designated smoking area so smokers stand right outside the entrance. Needed to ask a for an adapter for the hairdryer which only had a 2 round pin plug on it. And the guest handbook could be better, particularly around the 'smart panel' for housekeeping. That said, I would highly recommend the hotel, we had a fabulous time.

We had a really good time and totally recommend the hotel. We felt really welcomed from the first second. The quality of the hotel is simply top and the bed super comfortable. Thanks and we totally recommend.

Hotel Félix was a wonderful stay centrally located, and a beautiful contemporary hotel with every modern convenience a demanding traveled would demand. Laura and Katia were exceptional and the housekeeper noticed that I truly liked the body lotion and in room coffee and ensured I had plenty. The Hotel has a great design, minimalist, clean and themes a carried out throughout the property.

Lovely and super clean hotel. Breakfast was very good. Staff excellent.beautiful pools and very friendly plus highly professional. The bus stop fro the airport is just 1 minute away from the hope reception. Please note, the taxi from the hotel to the airport costs 30€ even if it’s only 3 km away, the bus only 1.50€ per person. We booked this hotel for our return 2.
