We had an unforgettable stay. Very atmospheric and staff is most kind. Breakfast is very good, lots of variety, and very pleasantly served. Terrace is just wonderful, especially in the evening. If you are strictly tied to Hyatt & Co, this may not be your place. If you can appreciate to stay in a family-run place, with somewhat artistic flair in the old rooms then you will love it. Rooms are coherent to the place and Olinda; a little old, but charming (I am not sure if those Jacuzzis in the room are really necessary, but others may like them..)

I arrived late at the hotel for check in, I made the procedure and I went up completely exhausted of the trip, I went to bath and had no towels available in the room, I called at the reception and told me I had to go withdraw (??) OK. I went down, picked up the towels I asked a coat gave me a bed copper that wasn't heating anything and had no other kind of cover. The room is large but with a screaming smell and no view to any place, since my window was in front of a residential, the bathroom was vacuum water from the box and the discharge was not working, when cleaning the room sometimes did not repair the room Face or floor towel, pq NOT HAVE been available, next to the hotel has a hamburger that leaves the place impregnated with fat smell all the time, coffee is well basic and repeated and to close with gold key missed energy for two days at the hotel with no return forecast, I was in the city at work I had to move to my base in the middle of the pq rain I could not advance my things from the hotel, I informed that I needed support because of the work to deliver and simply not to They exchanged me from hotel, arguing that they had no vacancies, the pool was in maintenance throughout the period I was there and there was only one lift working that at the coffee time I often went down from PQ stairs beyond the delay, was getting stuck. The chaos people dropped down with huge bags on the emergency staircase to get out of that place.As my own was already paid by the company, I had no choice and I had to stay 14 days in that mouse they call the hotel. My stay extended for 44 days but I went to another hotel that gave me the minimum comfort. The only thing that ”saves” is the service of the staff, all have always been very educated, at the reception, at the coffee and during cleaning, but it's all sad.

We stayed several days in the hostel, but the old rooms like 209, 214, in these numbers, need urgently a reform. Super dirty bathrooms, without cleaning on the shower part, seem to not sweat for years, waste of the bathroom with broken cap, the bathroom doors do not close right, the beds were swallowing in the middle and side. The room had no rooms to hang up the clothes, and breakfast could be better with other options, all day had sweet potatoes and another item that no one eat, and also had a day that Danone was grass.

O atendimento é excelente, limpeza também, a comida e a vista são incríveis, funcionários um amor, cama super confortável... porém eu tinha pego o Quarto Superior Super, dizia que tinha vista para o pátio mas a vista que tínhamos era de uma parede, dizia que tinha garrafa de água mas quando chegou lá se consumir tem que pagar mais de 30 reais. Tem muita coisa perto, supermercados, lanchonetes, bares e etc e isso facilita muito. Vale apena!!

The hotels in Recife all seem to be pretty utilitarian, and Hotel Manibu Recife is no exception, but it offers very good value compared to some other hotels that are quite similar. For $50 USD a night my room was clean and functional, with a small view of the ocean through some buildings. The lobby is nicely decorated but the attached restaurant is drab. The rooftop pool area has a nice view but is rather small. The point of all these qualified statements that I am making is that basically, for $50 a night you are getting a clean room with a utilitarian bathroom and shower, which is a pretty good deal for the area. My room at the Radisson was basically the same (minus the balcony at the Radisson) but cost twice as much. Some high points to the Hotel Manibu are that the front desk clerk spoke excellent English, and there is a good restaurant called Entre Amigos on the beach in close walking distance. A low point of this hotel is that I did not see any other restaurants open in close walking distance (others have said there are some, but I walked around and didn't see anything open besides Entre Amigos). Anyway, if you don't want to pay top dollar for a hotel on the seafront this is a very reasonable choice.

I actually booked this hotel by accident (I was looking at their sister hotel, the Marante Plaza Hotel, which is right on the beach for basically the same price). This hotel is 2 blocks from the beach in the same neighborhood. Despite “Executive” in the name, this is more of a budget-to-midrange hotel. The lobby is very attractive and the exterior of the hotel is also nice. The hotel staff are pleasant and helpful. They have valet parking in the front (for a very reasonable price). Breakfast is included and is decent. The room we stayed in had a partial view of the ocean. It was sp****ly decorated. What I really didn’t like was the bed: We requested a double bed, but it was actually just 2 single beds shoved together. 1 plus 1 may equal 2, but 2 single beds don’t equal a double bed. I like to sleep in the middle of the bed, so I just kept slipping into the space between the beds. The pillows were possibly the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on. If it wasn’t for that, I’d have given them a better score.

Muito escuro, apesar de ter um sensor de presença ❌cartão de acesso ao quarto parava de funcionar sem uma justificativa óbvia para tal

A hospedagem em si foi boa. O café é muito simples e tem pouca variedade. Pedi 02 refeições, a primeira veio com o frango do filé à parmegiana em quase sua totalidade cru, a outra refeição estava boa. Mas o grande problema é a vedação entre os quartos, é possível ouvir absolutamente tudo o que é dito ou é feito. This facility formerly belonged to the Best Western Hotel chain, and they still adhere to Best Western standards. Very professional staff with a pleasant, customer-oriented and proactive attitude, caring and always with a smile. On arrival I was immediately offered a glass of water. All my requests were carried out instantly within minutes. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of choices for Brazilian standards, even if the cooked components were pretty much the same every day. Very attentive, skilled and respectful restaurant staff. Cleanliness was just perfect. Very friendly and helpful housekeeping.

The building is old, and the storage leaves to be desired ... breakfast is bad. I think it deserves investment, although this means the increase in the value of daily lives.
