Booked a room for my sister during her holiday visit at the Onalaska Microtel based off a previous excellent experience my husband and I had at a Microtel in Salt Lake City; the Onalaska location did not disappoint! My sister commented several times to us about how comfy the bed was, how considerate the staff was, and the convenience of staying there. I'm super happy to have this location now as my go-to recommendation when family comes to visit. Extremely pleased!!!

We bought certain problems with our stay to the staff and our problems were handled quickly, efficiently and to my complete satisfaction. Our friend, staying in a different room experienced ni issues at all

The hotel has either been updated or is newer. It has an an elevator and is located close to the freeway,. Appreciate the lower price.

the way the check in was there was no costumer service at all!
the front desk needs to be trained better. she just asked me for my ID, CC and charged me right away. afterwards just told me about the floor and time of brekafast and left. I could not ask any questions!

Disappointing stay especially for the price. Definite unpleasant odor in both our room and our friends room in a completely different floor and side of the hotel. Hotel is run down. There were eggs or small bugs in every corner of the bathroom.

The first room we were given smelled very strong of urine. I went down to the front desk and asked for another room. The second room smelled of smoke (even though the hotel was all NO SMOKING). The hallways smelled like many people were cooking in their rooms. We paid about $110 for our room. For the quality and how run down the hotel looked, the smells I thought it was way over priced. I will not being staying there ever again.

Property is dated; the room key didn't work, even for staff, nor did the TV remote. Regarding the latter, the staff promised to come and replace it but didn't.
Otherwise the place was clean and the owner/manager was responsive,
