We were so looking forward to visiting Osaka and staying at The Boly, unfortunately my travel partner had an injury and we needed to cancel our trip. Our trip was to visit Osaka and onward to the Kumano Kodo. We will reschedule at a date in the future. I want to note that if you cancel your reservation and have paid in advance, the hotel is not able to refund directly to your original form of payment, your credit card. The hotel must go through a lengthy process to direct deposit funds to your bank account and in that process ask for and unduly amount of personal account information. Customer service was very friendly, but I finally gave up the funds I had paid in advance due to the amount of personal information the hotel was asking of me and for which was I not willing to share. I gave the information that was sufficient to transfer funds but that was still not acceptable. We were sorry to miss the lovely Boly experience, but unsure if we would book here again.
