La Gazelle d'Or Resort & Spa

My first time in la Gazelle D'Or and my god there is so much to say ! Apart the beautiful entry, the proprety, the calm the amazing decor!!! The reception so beautifully made and the garniture with magnificent paintings from desert!! A special thanks to Zaineb at the reception and Ikram at the Spa where I spent the best time!! Very careful with the customers always trying to adapt to everyone! Am going back for sure ! Thanks for all the staff you guys gave me a very good time you can't imagine!

Very relaxing hotel, discovering the beautiful sand dunes of the Algerian Sahara, offering a beautiful soft sun and many activities and distractions (camel riding, 4x4 Safari, Quad ...). The large spaces of this hotel and the paths lined with beautiful palm trees all around a very clean palm grove. Several restaurants with different styles, swimming pool, SPA. Very welcoming staff. Also charming are the trips using valets inside this immense tourist complex.

Beautiful roooms. Outside swimming pool closed and only allowed to use indoor one once during stay. Had to pay extra to use sauna and steam not what you would expect. Very limited food choice and too many cats and flies around. Perfect location close to airport and for a dessert experience

Very disappointed from this Hotel. The Rooms are Dirty. You cant close them. Service super unfriendly. Disturbed us More then 4 times while Dinner. The buffet is very little. It’s very expensive for nothing. Buffet costs 25€ and you don’t geht anything for

Arrived here at 6 PM when it was raining and left next day at 9 am. This didn’t allow for an appreciation of the facilities. Golf carts whisk you to your rooms. My aircon unit just blasted cool air in April. I had to ask them to turn on the radiator as it was cold. Free WIFI which works well. Good TV. Rooms are comfy and bathrooms huge. But there is no hair dryer. The floor is dusty but that is different from the rooms not being clean. There is a spa open until 6 pm. There’s a gym open until 10:30 pm, but they told me it closed at 6 pm and only called back to let me know hours at 9 pm… I got lost walking around at night trying to find the dining hall even if it was close to my room. There aren’t many lights on the villas and you have to walk to the door to see the numbers. Bring your phone or torch. There’s a gazelle pen and there was a bulldozer fixing the dune at the entrance to the resort. They offer 4 WD over the dunes. The staff try hard but sone speak no French. Dinner and lunch buffets very good. Vegetarians will be happy too. To have a resort of this quality in such a remote place is quite a feat.

Nous avons passés un séjour a la gazelle d'or et que nous recommandons vivement. Un grand merci a Mr Ould Ali le directeur général du resort ainsi qu'à toute son équipe. Une mention spéciale Mme Rania de la réception et Belkacem qui étaient aux petits soins tout au long de notre séjour avec un professionnalisme exemplaire. Un grand coup de cœur pou Ali le chauffeur qui était d'une gentillesse exemplaire durant tout notre sejour il était toujours là quand avait besoin de lui surtout en ville et pour la sortie en 4x4 dans les dune c'est un professionnel je vous le recommande. Le complexe esr immense avec des palmeraies a perte de vue , vous n'avez pas besoin de sortir vous trouverez tout a l'intérieur pour les activités nous avons opter pour la sortie en 4x4 et la balade en dromadaire c'était magique dans les grands espaces du complexe. Les hébergements sont digne des palaces des milles et une nuits avec une décoration qui reflète la culture de la région. Milles mercis a toute l'équipe de la gazelle d'or. Belkacem Nouani
