The 2 bedroom cottage was very nice. There was a problem with the breaker for the rooms going out. It is a very nice, quiet setting.

Rooms inside have been updated. Windows need replacing/upgrading, clearly drafts of air, cracks in doors and windows not sealed. Indicative of age of property. Staff was very accommodating, and met requests with efficiency. Found the property and location in Pacific Grove overall very charming. Week after Christmas proved way too congested, week after New Years has been our go-to, will return to that approach in the future.

My in person interactions with guest services was excellent. Personable, inquisitive & interested in our visit & absolutely the most polite folks you could ask for in this environment. Wish more hotels & inns in this area were operated this way. Made the stay all the more enjoyable. Thank you Monterey Peninsula Inn

Nice quaint place to stay with great access to 17-mile drive from the Pacific Grove gate entrance. Rooms were well cared for and furnished with an additional portable heater and fan provided in the room. Parking in front of each unit was available.

The location is perfect and for that alone, I would stay here again. The staff is friendly and attentive. The room is a bit outdated and for a two bedroom unit, the sliding bathroom doors left little privacy for whoever was using the bathroom. The front door left almost a two inch gap on either side of the door. Other than that, the beds were comfortable and the area is very quiet.

This is my second time staying at Monterey Peninsula Inn. The room are clean and the beds are cozy. In my opinion, the location is perfect. A short distance to downtown Pacific Grove and the beach. The price is very reasonable for what you get. I will stay here again.

The accessibility around the nearby famous places is very convenient like the light house, kissing rock, golf course, Butterfly sanctuary etc. etc. and the receptionist is very friendly, helpful & informative.

The 2 bedroom cottage was worn out. Beds were so uncomfortable sleeping was pretty impossible. Lopsided and hard a s rocks.The floor was leaning oddly to the middle. I won't book this again.
However
The upstairs rooms that allow dogs are amazing!! The staff is the best! The grounds are well maintained and clean. We've stayed here for years, met family here and have always loved it. The location is nice and quiet.
