Two bedroom unit was fantastic. Well appointed, kitchen was equipped and a good size, we had a washer/dryer in the unit. This property is near downtown, an easy walk, but away from the crush of cruise ship traffic. It's across the street from the bay, where locals swim in the morning and walk on the beach (join them -- the water is great!) and we all thought it was a pretty perfect place from which to explore the Bay of Islands.

Everything about this place was wonderful. We had a 2 bedroomed apar**ent with both rooms ensuite. The lounge area was super comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, enough cutlery and dishes for 6 people.

Spent a couple of days in Pahia with a friend mountain biking and playing golf. Stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with views over the pool and out to the water. Nice big apar**ent, huge lounge, nice balcony overlooking the pool. Very comfortable. Two *******: it's very hard to get out of the underground parking, and they don't heat the pool. My own pool isn't much smaller at home, it costs me about $150-200 per month to heat. When I'm paying about $550 per night for an apar**ent, heat the damn pool it was freezing.

The Palms are really well appointed and convenient. On site parking and great staff support. Amazing views and the Bay of Islands to swim in across the road, 20m from the front door!

Next property people been noice, arguing at 2 am. It seems the accommodation for that property being filled with homeless people

We rented a car and drove from Auckland to Paihia, Bay of Islands. It is only 3.5 hrs drive straight up, but we had 2 stops along the way, Sheep World and Whangārei. Done cruise to Hole in the Rock, Parasail and Thunder Trike Tour! Lots of fun, shopping and good food.
