Blue Horizon

很寧靜的一個小鎮，人不是很多。酒店是家家庭式的酒店，就在海灘邊上，很多老外就是來這兒泡沙灘的。服務挺好，就是設施簡單了一點。

Just returned for 10 glorious days at the Blue Horizon in Paleochora. Staying here is like staying with family. The owners are the nicest, kindest people you could wish for. The accommodation is beautiful, the location perfect and we will continue to return every 2 years. It’s a little piece of paradise.

High standard accommodation in a great location. Excellent communication prior to arrival and very comfortable (even changing mattress comfort levels with a softer topping 😊 when asked) A bit out of season for any beach bar life this side of the peninsula but we’d imagine the place comes to life a few weeks hence. Really good restaurants in town on the other end of town for breakfast and dinner so, overall an excellent few days stay. Sunsets are perfect so pick a room facing the sea - it’s worth it!

Located in Paleochora, Crete and facing the Turkish Sea, this hotel is absolutely lovely and quaint. The staff, who I believe are all family, are amazing. The breakfast buffet which was available every morning and is served on the open-air top floor of the hotel got our day started off on the right foot every morning. It is conveniently located within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Paleochora. You can't beat the sunsets from this hotel. Make sure you take a nice Greek orange wine that pairs in color with the sunset. Nothing better.

We stay every year in Blue Horizon. Very clean and professional, nice and new rooms. directly at the beach. good breakfast. The management from Maria and her family is very nice and professional. Enough parking space

Just back from 8 nights at Blue Horizon where we had a wonderful time. It is perfectly situated across from the sandy beach and close to the bars and restaurants. We had a first floor room (number 21) which was a good size and cleaned on a daily basis. A good sized balcony such was overlooked and no great views but a great place to sit and relax with a drink or a book. The breakfasts were fantastic with lots of choice including orange juice, cereals, fruit, eggs and lots of homemade Cretan pastries etc. Maria and the family were very attentive and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend the Blue Horizon.

We have just spent 10 days of our month long road trip back at the small and beautifully formed Blue Horizon, with Maria, George, Kikki and Emerson, who along with Dad are perfect hosts. Really lovely genuine people offering a wonderful family owned holiday base in Paleochora, right opposite the fabulous golden sandy beach of Paleochora (the quiet side). This families hospitality is second to none. They are kind , attentive and professional at all times. They now have a delightful rooftop bar open in the evenings, too. As expected, drinks are well priced and the quality of their wine superb. You can watch the incredible sunset from this vantage point. Simply stunning. Rooms are lovely and we had a comfy new bed and views to die for. This time we brought friends with us - they too loved the Blue Horizon experience. There is a choice from 4 sea facing rooms with stunning views (I should mention, it gets very hot on the balconies of upstairs rooms), or the option of nice cool rooms at the back if you prefer shade. Some with their own balconies or patio area. Kikki makes beautifully presented, fresh Greek buffet breakfasts on the roof terrace every morning - where we enjoyed breakfast accompanied by perfect sea views, daily. The freshly squeezed orange juice is the best in Crete. We have already rebooked and will be returning to Paleochora and The Blue Horizon again and again. Thank you for maintaining such high standards here Maria and constantly striving to improve your guest experience by making improvements and refurbishing. Can’t wait to return.

We have travelled and stayed in many parts of Crete but this topped the lot. Perfect location just off a fabulous beach with great restaurants and cafes. Only 5 minutes to the central jetty area with many great bars, cafes and restaurants. This hotel ticked all our boxes. Spotlessly clean, large sea view room, great breakfast with panoramic views of beach and mountain. But the magic ingredient here was the welcome and care we got from Maria and her family. Her restaurant recommendations were all spot on and the genuine friendly atmosphere here is unique and a credit to the whole family. We will be counting the days to coming back for longer next year, 5 days this time.

We was the second time here, Best value for money, ... extremely friendly and helpful stuff. Very clean rooms...great fresh breakfast...100% recommended...we love this place thanks a lot again for the amazing relaxing time in you beautiful hotel ...see you sure again 💕💕💕
