The Reef House Adults Retreat

Have just returned from the most amazing, relaxing weekend at The Reef House in Palm Cove. Everything about our mini-break was perfect from the welcome drink, to the delicious included breakfasts, evening canapes, wine tasting and cocktail making classes. The FNQ climate makes slowing down and taking things easy the only option, and when this was combined with fantastic massages in the Day Spa and plenty of places to lounge by one of the two pools, I cannot believe just how refreshed I feel. I can also highly recommend the Degustation Dinner under the Stars (with wine pairing option) and the Picnic Hamper lunch option. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at The Reef House!

We’ve just returned from a beautiful stay at The Reef House in Palm Cove to celebrate my partners birthday. A perfect place to relax in luxurious surroundings with a personal touch. The view from the restaurant is stunning. The standout was the fantastic communication we received once we booked, in the lead up to our stay, during our stay and after. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, we felt like we were returning guests, not first time visitors. They could not find a better person than Cédric to fill the Concierge role. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely go back!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the many inclusions offered. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and relaxed which certainly added to our time at The Reef House. The resort is in a lovely, peaceful location across from the beach!

To be quite honest I really don't want to tell anyone about the Rewf House .. I want to keep it a secret. The best way I can describe this amazing place is to tell you we have been coming back here for the last 20 years, this year was our 22nd time and I don't know how they do it but they manage to get better and better. The personal stuff, the interaction with the staff, the food, the pools all the little extras make it an exceptional place to stay and relax

What a beautiful Resort to rest , relax and rejuvenate ! From the 5 star welcome by Reef House staff to tour of resort and all its amenities , we could not fault the exceptional customer service . Breakfast daily was a delight from freshly squeezed juices to individually cooked breakfast from an expansive menu. Our Room was just as described and daily housekeeping service was spot on! Dinner at The Reef Restaurant was a culinary delight and once again the service was exceptional , wine list was expansive Palm Cove is a lovely little village. It is packed with high quality restaurants if you are after trying lots of different cuisines . The Reef House cocktail making classes which are free was another great experience and we had so much fun! Being an adult only resort also afforded a resort that was quiet and you could chill out anywhere within the resort Our stay at The Reef House with its beautiful gardens , 2 large swimming pools plus a mineral pool… all day dining .. sorbet by the pool .. a beautiful bespoke Resort that caters to your every need ! Nothing is too much trouble .. we have booked to return in a few months to experience their wonderful hospitality again .. Trish & Geoff

I had experienced The Reef House as a birthday surprise, and I haven’t stopped talking about it since! I still feel like I have that “Reef House glow” from the wonderful weekend we spent at this beautiful property. The signature inclusions and the overall experience were remarkable. We’ve never felt more cared for or relaxed during a mini -break. From the welcome drinks and the property tour at check-in to the cultural connection session, sorbet by the pool, beach yoga, and the fabulous heated mineral pool, every moment was unforgettable. Each meal was perfectly presented and delicious, and the special birthday gifts made me feel very special. Thank you to the team at The Reef House! We will see you again soon! :)

From the moment you book your stay until you leave you'll feel exceptionally well looked after. Every member of the team goes above & beyond to help you rest & relax. Cedric, Sabine (sleep coach), Holly and Priscilla (spa) were a few stand out staff! Highly recommend a stay here to anyone wanting to decompress.

My wife and I had a lovely time and are already dreaming of returning to the perfectly located Reefhouse. The cocktail class and wine appreciation sessions were fantastic. The staff were superb and catered to every need making it worth returning. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection and the waiting staff took every initiative to ensure we were looked after always serving with a smile. The a la carte breakfast had a wide variety and so we typically picked something different each day alongside a well made coffee and a different juice of the day which were so good I’d often ask for a top up. The activities allowed us to socialise with other guests and were facilitated by the in-house staff Kenny and Gabriel who did a fantastic job sharing their wisdom and talent. At this resort, you’re not just a number, you’re treated like a valued person. We had dinner at the resort on the first night also where the waiting staff were very thorough in ensuring we were comfortable, happy with our meal, and presented the specials confidently, making recommendations for both food and wine. Cédric our concierge also kept in regular contact to ensure we had enjoyed our stay and was with us from before the trip began till the end. When asked if there was anything they could improve my wife and I could only compliment the staff on their efforts. The Reef House runs like a well oiled machine and our experience was so positive, we cannot wait to go back. The poolside service was also very quick, often bringing us the cocktails and snacks we ordered as well as the staple sorbet by the pool at 3 o’clock each day. All the flavours were amazing.

From the moment we arrived at the Reef House, we were welcomed by the friendly staff and transported to a beautiful, relaxing experience, in celebration of our wedding anniversary. The rooms were thoughtfully styled with beautiful views. The pool areas and grounds were immaculate. The staff couldn’t do more to make sure we had a beautiful time. We dined at the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and all the meals were outstanding. We will definitely be back!
