Smoke alarm not working
Bathroom faucet backwards, cold side hot, hot side cold.
Shower controls broken, missing piece, handle falling off.
No blanket on bed, thin sheet, had to go out and buy one. No drawers to store clothes for stay. Wife scalded feet with none working shower controls. Right hand bed light not plugged in, not ready for guests paying what you charge. 35 years as a General Contractor, someone is not doing their job. Have stayed there at least ten times over the years, no more, will let friends know.

This is an older hotel but they have done a complete renovation and given the property a very cool retro south seas look. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have an on property tiki restaurant/bar that was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place.

Rooms could use refreshing. Bed was creaky and I could feel the mattress coils…also noisy because if location to the main road. Not really walkable to downtown. Don’t think I’d stay here again.

Great heated pool and spa. Tiki bar on property. Restaurant and another bar on property. Fun place to hang in the pool.

This is NOT a resort. It is a motel and it’s in need of major renovation. Our room had holes in doors/walls, bathroom super tiny and the tub didn’t drain so you are standing in a bunch of water while showering. The shampoo etc is in bottles attached to the wall similar to going to a community pool locker room. No bar soap. The pool is very nice and warm! HOWEVER, they do not “allow” you to request new pool towels. Do you have to find a way to dry your towels for reuse (without anywhere to hang them, no towel rack, no hooks). The hotel bar has fun drinks but at 16-20 a drink you might as well go to a nice restaurant in the area. Nearby Mr Lyons has a fabulous happy hour (food and drink) and it’s somehow less expensive than the hotel’s tiki bar. Oh and the lobby has birds in cages … cute at first but you quickly realize that birds smell. Badly. I feel sorry for the folks working there.

ok rooms except they need to fix peeling paint in the bathroom and cracked ceramic tile......maids did did not refill the body wash canister....had to have them fill it

Nathan was wonderful when we checked in. The room needs some updating and painting but it was very clean. Pillows great, bed ok. Probably close to needing a new one . The food and staff at reef restaurant were excellent. The grounds and pool area beautiful and tidy. Nice location. Other than some updating, facelift it was a nice stay.

Awesome tiki vibe. Rooms are basic and aging a bit. But overall a**osphere is charming, fun, friendly. A mai tai by the pool: perfect!

The mid century Tiki themed hotel and bar was fun. Our room overlooked the pool, which had music playing all day, from Hawaiian to Bob Marley, which gave it a nice vibe. Pool closed at 10:00 p.m. and music stopped, so no late night partying to keep you from getting sleep. Great neighborhood for morning walks & there’s a great coffee shop to walk to.
